It needs a bigger tach

Very very cool build up !...

A little useless, but cool....

It's not really that hard to do--if you are converting the car to a tube-frame. It would be so much more nifty if they actually got the hood to close. The ultimate sleeper.

It's not fake, why would they put a fake on eBay?

And its not a Cavilqueer considering it has a 454 under the hood. Well sorta under the hood.

Fine print on the bumper: "It's still just a Cava-queer!"
There is a Quad 4 Cavalier out there with a turbo and about 400 hp putting shame to all sorts of Hondas. I think it's nice to be different, for a change, and prove that there are other FWD cars besides Hondas and Mitsubishis that can be fast.

That cavy, is RWD with a solid rear, lol no rear suspension, he drives around with 12psi in the rear tires...
I'm sure its a fun toy, but not good for much other than a quick cruise around..
probably is'nt even that quick..

Oh you freaking killjoy. It's an awesome car.
So what if it has twice the cylinders and probably 5 times the horsepower. It's cool either way. We have a cavalier Ls Sport so I'm sure that thing handles like crap... but it's not meant to be turned. Haha.

"This car was origianally built to resemble a Muscle Machine at the request of our 9 year old son."
Wow. I wish my dad would do that.

The shot with the hood off is kinda funny. Its like they stripped the engine bay and tried to test fit the big block.
"Well, damn. That ain't gonna fit. Aw, hell, I'll just weld it up here."

I guarantee you that a 400hp Cavalier with the same suspension tuning, wheel/tire setup, and weight even, will lose everytime to a 400hp Civic on the track. First off, Honda actually tries to distribute the weight of their cars perfectly over the wheels, as well as, try to keep the center of gravity as low as possible. Now, Chevrolet doesn't exactly try to make it more difficult for the vehicle to drive, but their main intention on creating a car that is to rival it's competition, is to make it cheaper than the competition so it will sell. That is the American Way, throwing the customer aside for their wallet.

For chirst sake, its not a ricer. Its got a 454 and absoultly no styling. Unless you consider since it's yellow it much be a ricer.

And I'm sorry Honda did not develope the Civic with weight distribution. It's and economy car, they designed it so it would get like 30mpg not so boy racers could throw it on a road course.

Haha, you know that hondas handle quite excellently right? Well about as well as a car that cheap can. I don't think you can create a car these days without looking good into the weight distribution.

Right....

The Civic is not designed as an economy car, that's what the Honda Beat is. The Civic is a lower-class performance vehicle. Look at the Civic Type-R, it's simple enough to be elementary. Why can't you understand that?

Oh, and about your signature:
Chicks like cars fast, unlike your slow a$$.

OK...jeez!!! Yeah its a cool idea, just not my thing..
I have a cavalier as a daily driver, and a mustang as a toy...
I'd like to keep it that way i guess...lol

Oh really? The Civic is listed with 61/39 distribution, while the Cobalt has 59/41 (stats on the discontinued Cavalier are hard to find). Pedantic, yes, but so is your point: there is no reason that a Cavalier cannot be as fast as a Civic--and the Quad 4 engine has much better low end then the 1.6 L Honda VTEC 4-cyl.

What year civic are we talking about? New? From what I've heard the newer civics don't handle as well as older ones.

How is a Civic not made to be an economy car? If I had to travel around the city I would get one in a heart beat. They get awesome mileage. Plus how can a performance car only have 120hp and a hybrid option? Seems like its a car for people who live in the city and don't want to pay a million dollars for gas.

Plus do you think the Beat is sold in the United States? No. Plus I have no idea what the hell it even is.

*Note about my sig. Who cares really? I mean you have to be lacking at a conversation to bring something in that has nothing to do about anything. I have a lowered Blazer with a stock engine (save for a K&N air fliter). It's a 190 some horsepower and runs a quater mile in almost 16 seconds. It's NOT fast nor is it meant to be. It's strictly about looking good and crusing around the street.

The Civic is an economy car. The Honda beat is a Kei car. You certainly can't compare those to Cavaliers because they aren’t full sized cars & they don't even sell them in the states.

LMAO!!! Did you just say the Civic is a performance vehicle? The 2004 Civic EX had a 8.8 second 0-60. That looks like an economy car to me. The Cavalier does put out only slightly faster numbers, but when you consider that it's MSRP is about $1,000 less it seems like a better car.

I'm glad to see there is still some shread of intellegence on this forum. The more time I spend here the stupider people get. Thumbs up to Quick Nick for not being a moron!!!

Man i think y'all be as dumb as one another. I'd like to re-ask a previous question of how the hell is that thing street legal with a huge engine blocking the majority of the driver's view?

Ya just because it has a license plate doesn't mean it's street legal, but that things really meant for show. Why would anyone bother with that on the street.
