The coke vs. pepsi topic inspired this for me. I figured WTF, we all speak english here right? May as well find out how it evolved. This is a link to the evolution of the english language and the impact american dialect has had on it. It was a very interesting read if you ever wanted to know specifics about how english dialects have changed in the passed 1000 years.

It analyzes everything from german, to english, colonial dialect, slave dialect, canadian, southern, eastern,.. you name it.

I'm sure many of you would rather watch paint dry than read this, I admit I didnt read the whole thing (76 pages), but I did scan it,... it was real intreaguing.

Well, some of us speak English. Others use a different pseudo-English.

I won't mention any names.
