At last, after about 3 months of trying, I knocked out all golds!
My last stage was the Delta Integrale in the hairpins on Tahiti Maze, I finally got the drifting right and nicked in .009 under. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Mindless self-gratification...
Congrats! I've never done that. I was working on it, but decided to try getting all the cars instead, as well as trying some in the garage I haven't driven.
Some of the tests I was working on, though, were rough. Congrats again!
Hey fury I'm catching up on 200 as well
Hardest test? The ones that stick in my memory are the Pennzoil Nismo GT-R at Midfield (I've never gotten that last hairpin!), the GT40 at Seattle, but the one that definately was the toughest was the Delta on Tahiti Maze's hairpins. I honestly must have done that test around 400 times .
One that I thought was way too easy was the Toyota GT1 on Monaco - my first lap, without ever running that car, was a 1.32.xxx. My second lap was a 1.29.270. Never touched it sense then, I thought it was too easy...
Rally kicked my butt for a long time though ... 😈
Wow! Looks like we may be twins separated at birth or something!
I, too, had the hardest of times at Midfield on license test S-4. It was soooo frustrating trying to get all the different parts of the test linked together for a gold-worthy lap to mess it all up on that last hairpin turn I also had my share of troubles on the test with the Delta around the 3 hairpins section of Tahiti Maze, took me a good while for that one too. And finally, the icing on the cake, I breezed through S-8, getting gold on my very first attempt without ever having previously driven the car.
