So I was so looking forward to getting the CTR Yellowbird, until I found that it was nigh on impossible to control with no traction control, and even with tc on it was still spinning out all the time. Anybody have any tips on what I should do, I'd like to leave it unmoved (I'm a stickler for keeping my cars stock:))

Pad or wheel?

Basically when driving it you need to always be aware of the weight at the back of the car.

Lift off oversteer will see it swinging round like a mace, too much power while steering with all that weight giving it traction will see it also pushing it self out past the front and finally braking from speed too heavily will see the nose dive, weight come off the back tyres losing traction then the weight of the engine carrying the car in what ever direction it's heading.

Because of the weight distribution the steering and power application are very quick which means you have to be more aware of weight shifting while driving the car more so than something more forgiving.

Ick, I could have sworn I had posted this in questions and answers.

I'm using a pad (Hopefully my DFGT will arrive soon :sly:). I just put on some sport softs and it improved it but the DS3 is quite inaccurate so I can only not accelerate or fully accelerate, and not in between. Will this get easier with the wheel?

Yeah but in the mean time switch the brake/throttle to the should triggers, they aren't perfect but they're better than the X and Square

I've already done that, I have a Forza 3 setup for my DS3, I even have these special clip-on things that are supposed to make it more sensitive, but it hasn't worked for me yet. Whenever I'm driving a somewhat feisty car I find I have to glide around any corners.

I will upload a lap of the ring tonight in how I control it, totally ignore the gear it suggests you to use or you will spin all over the place that is for sure! I dont use any TC and just the stock settings, it is all about practise and look trying to get it back in a straight line when it starts to act like a demented lion :)

Here is the outside view of my video I am currently uploading the drivers view and will post when uploaded and processed.

its all about throttle control. When turning, never let off the throttle keep it halfway down but be careful not to push the throttle too hard or it will just spin out.
