Hey! Orimarc's here. I want you to try this challenge:

Beat any series of races* with a budget of the total price**. I explain:

If there's a series of individual races (Sunday Cup, for example), and each win is 600 credits:
600 credits * 5 races = 3000 credits of budget + the sell price of the prize car (This is optional)

Rules
- You have to write ALL of the credits you spent (car, oil, parts).
- All parts permitted (including NOS)
- Crashing into AI or shortcutting is NOT valid.
- To beat someone you need to win all races with less money spent.

*(Single or championship, does not matter)
** (The price car selling price counts if needed)

This is a good idea. I've done this several times by now since I'm in the habit struggling for my wins, even in the sunday cup.. ;)

I dont really have time to sit down and do a bunch of calculations today, tho. today being a Saturday and weather is nice outside and all that.

Yeah, I know. You can try on short endurance races: 1 big prize and that's the budget.
Almost forgot: To beat somebody you have to WIN all the (single or championship) races with a thighter budget.

I like this idea, though in some ways we're stumbling a little blindly into the challenge, because the money we'd get from selling the prize car that goes towards the budget is unknown, so most of the time we don't know what the budget to work within is!

Sounds fun though. Presumably the winner is the one who has the largest amount of their budget left having won all the races? So if the budget for a series was say, 10k credits, and I only spent 2.5k credits on the car/tuning etc, I'd have 7.5k left as my total, so someone would have to have over 7.5k of their original budget left to beat me?

Sounds cool

Will give it a try soon.

Any restrictions on such as NOS, AI car collisions and driving off track ?

Here's what I came up with:

Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe '97 -8.436 Cr at Stars and Stripes
Weight Reduction Stage 1 and oil change -1.200 Cr and -50 Cr

Won all three events at:
Laguna Seca Raceway 160 a-spec pts. 10.000 Cr
Seattle Circuit 175 a-spec pts. 10.000 Cr
Infineon Raceway 150 a-spec pts. 10.000 Cr

Prize Car: Chevrolet Camaro LM Race Car '01 212.499 Cr

Total +232.813 Cr 485 a-spec pts.

your turn.

Total budget used to win: 9686 cr
your turn.

I think you got wrong. The selling price of the prize car only enters IF necesary.
I've corrected the post so it looks like I think it should look.
