Looking good, what are you going to be using your computer for?

In that case you might want an athlon 3700+.
Or at least a Venice core 3500+.

I'd also get a different PSU. Getting no-name generic PSU's isn't exactly a good idea. Try and go for one by a respected brand (OCZ, Thermaltake, Antec, etc). The OCZ Modstream seems to be a popular PSU, albeit a bit pricey. But, you get what you pay for!

And a slightly beefier video card wouldn't go a stray if you're going to be playing flight sims and the likes. The Radeon X850 series is going pretty cheap now (ASUS X850Pro).

Yes but the GTO line excels in overclocking potential, if you want a GTO in order to overclock it I would suggest the Sapphire ATI Radeon X800 GTO². If you are not planning to overclock your card an NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GS would be a better choice.

Ah. I only noticed the "X800" part. ;)

Yes, the GTO is good little card (and can be unlocked to achieve X850 speeds).

definately up the system to a 3700+. It's just a better cpu all around and it has the 1mb l2 cache. Also, consider a bigger hard drive. The price difference between an 80gb and a 160gb is nominal. Add in that many new games are over 3 gigs each nowadays, the extra space will be VERY useful.

Get the 3500+ and overclock it. the Lanparty is a great overclocker, so i wouldn't get the 3700+. I'd get an X850PRO if i were you at least, and get a better PSU.

For flightsims you don't need such a powerful Graphics Card or CPU.
In the future you will, so instead of buying cheaper things now and spending more money upgrading, just buy all the good things now.
