Did a search..was looking for an hour and didn't really find what i needed to know. So, here goes.

I have a ps3 with my account(has a psn account) and my dads(doesn't have one). It's my understanding that the psn account isn't related to the ps3 but just the account on the ps3, is this correct?

So, anyways to make a long story longer, My dad comes up to visit every couple of months and he has been playing gt5 on my ps3. He now wants to get a ps3, but only if he can take his saved game(from my ps3) and put it on his soon to be new ps3. Is this possible with the latest patch?

thanks,
mike

Are you saying you're sharing your account and game save with him? If he doesn't have a separate game save from yours I don't think it'll be possible. Saves are locked to PSN accounts, so he'd need to have a separate account in order to be able take his saves with him.

not same account, just the same ps3. I wasn't sure if the psn account was 1 per ps3 or just 1 per account on the ps3.

Oh, then he has his own user name. Have him create a PSN account for that user name then set up that same account on his new PS3.
