Started playing some championship races this morning, I was bored. Selected a race, then a car, and started the race. As soon as the race started, the game put me in a different car, different camera view, and drove the race for me. I've never seen this before, been racing with PS3,4,and 5 and many versions of Gran Turismo. Not all races were affected. Worked just fine yesterday.
Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?
Thanks

Have you got any video of this, as it all sounds rather unfamiliar.

Already read things like that on the forum, from VR users, where camera jumps to another car or else on the start of the race. I'd be curious to see it a video too. Never happened to me.

Update; restarted the PS5, problem has gone away. But I'm curious....has anyone experienced the game taking control of the car and/or controller (Fanatec CSL Elite)? When this happened to me, it actually steered the car and moved the wheel in my hands. I let go (no inputs) and the car did the whole race. On replay it showed my car slowing to a stop on the track after the green flag.

yes because you ceased to make inputs so your car stopped, meanwhile the car in which you hoped on was driven by AI

Okay, I understand why my car stopped. But that doesn't explain how my wheel was being driven by AI, and how I ended up in another car.
