Hi my name is Richard0510 and welcome to my tuning garage Yorkshire's Suspension And Drivetrain Specialists. I'm new to the tuning side of gran turismo but been bitten by the bug of tuning in gt6, I've played every single gt game since the release of gt1 for ps1 but never got into tuning side of things and creating my own mark on the game until now. I must admit some of you guys really know your stuff and inspire other racers on here to get ahead of their competition. Guys who inspired me in gt5 when I first started using tunes and a big thank you for all your efforts in the world of gran turismo are Praiano and Motor City Hami. Now of started my own tunes I therefore declare that I won't be replicating anyones tunes tweaking them here and there and claiming them to be my own. The amount of man hours trying to get the best out of the car are done from scratch and tested after each tweak so I know how the car reacts to certain changes. Without further a do welcome all and I hope you enjoy my tunes as much as I did to create them. Thank you and enjoy your racing.

Welcome. And thanks for the kudos. I think it is going to take many of us, working together, to figure out GT6 physics.
I will link your garage in the FITT Reverse Engineering the Physics thread.

Same with the KTM did away with the last tune for the FXX because again wasn't happy with the way it drove so made a new one, again lower PP stock BHP now and no weight reduction. overall I'm becoming to like it now you still need to feather the throttle and brake in a straight line to avoid any of the snappy over steer.

Thank you for the warm welcome Motor City Hami, yes your right in what you say completely different ball game in terms of physics and how the car reacts in GT6, I must admit though i'm enjoying the new challenge and I hope to continue to contribute to the world of GT6 as well as yourself and others.

This tune is for the KTM X-Bow R '12. Must say I really enjoyed tuning this car and it's really quick managing 1:55s on Silverstone GP which is 2 seconds slower than my FXX and it's only got half the power and it's 405kgs lighter but still can't wait to take it racing see what it's like.

does that also count for the "normal" Xbow?

you could try it but I'm currently re doing everything because I'm not happy with it now and I'm still learning the basics of tuning so it might appeal to me it's a good tune but complete rubbish to others, so try and be free to leave any feedback good or bad I won't be offended either way.

Thanks a lot, the car is at least semi drivable for me now, but the cars tendency to spin out is still more than I would like it to be, any suggestions?

Well I've started the KTM tune from scratch again and using brands hatch Indy instead of silverstone gp all I can say is I'm very happy with it consistent 43s which I think is a respectful time anyways I will post it up later on as I'm going to sleep now.

Well, it does fit for the Street XBow too, it it still fast, but i have that feeling that the cornering speed was faster before, because of that overstearing...

have you tried the new tune or you referring to the old one and I'm glad it works for the Street too, I have one sitting in my garage and with people already tuning the street and not the R that's why I picked to tune the R instead. Thanks for the feedback and enjoy your racing.

I think I used the old one.

Could you link the tunes to your OP, that way, the "non-tuners" don't haveto search every threag page for it ;)

New tune for KTM X-Bow R '12 wasn't happy with the last one so did away with it altogether and come up with this one, tuned round brands hatch indy with consistent 43s pushing into high 42s which I think is a respectful time. It has now lower PP and lower BHP and now has been tuned on racing hard but you can use racing soft if you want. Remember to feather throttle and brake in a straight line to avoid any snappy over steer.

Hi, again thank you these tunes have been very helpful, and I neglected to tell you I'm using the anniversary edition x bow r and I must say with the increased power in that I find your first tune to be more helpful as it seems to offer more control than your new one, as I'm not exactly the best driver and need all the control I can get.

Your very welcome, and I have the anniversary edition too forgot about it to be honest and just bought a normal R but if your happy enough with the first tune then that all that matters buddy and yeh I understand that I'm still getting to grips with the new physics but slowly but surely people are finding the way round them and producing some awesome cars. Good luck and enjoy your racing.

you need to set final drive to 5.500 first then set top speed to 162mph then 1st gear range is between 2.944 and 3.982 and the default ratio when you do this is 3.354 then set all your ratios then set final drive back to 3.870. Hope this helps. Also the FXX is going through a revamp stage again so it might change in the next few days. Thank you and enjoy your racing.

Nice Balanced Tune, Don't go into corners to fast as it will over steer a bit but it's very easy to control when it does. I'm very happy with it and probably my best tune to date.

Any Feedback is welcome. Enjoy your racing.

This is definitely my favourite tune for the XBow Street so far.

Question: When I use race soft tires, I get nasty oversteer under braking/decelerating. I've turned the LSD way up and that's helped but what else could I do?

This is older GT But i have the GT sport 2017 . Going to try this setup . The setting numbers are different a bit in the 2017 but I get the picture . I like my torque high to get out of corners faster with lower LSD acceleration while using manual shift for the x bow . Let’s see what happens
