I know everybody is annoyed when it comes to the whole Forza 3 versus Gran Turismo 5 disscusion:sick::yuck:. But guess what.
YOU CAN'T COMPARE FORZA TO GT!
It's like comparing a Ferrari F430 to say...a Bugatti Veyron. Sure, both are in the same genre, but both are CLASSES APART (the Bugatti being far superior than the F430). Microsoft made a huge mistake to compare both games. Forza belongs in the, don't get offended, Need for Speed and GRID genre, and there, it wins, believe me, I've tried all the demos, and I think Forza is way better.
What do you say?:)

Why lock? I like it

GT games always have the polish in them, the class, and best sim physics out there. You cant compare it!

In order to be superior, there must be an inferior. Superior is a relative term and thus there must be a comparison.

Wrong, as usual.

From websters- "to examine the character or qualities of especially in order to discover resemblances or differences" Read it and weep, there is no examination of characters or qualities of the 2 cars.

You're not giving Forza 3 enough credit and I disagree you can't compare them. They're obviously similar in genre but different in execution, style and focus. Putting Forza 3 in the same class as Grid and Shift is an insult to a great game. Anyone who likes GT would probably think Forza 3 is a blast as well if they'd give it an honest chance.

Wrong, as usual.

And as usual just because you say so doesn't make it somehow true.

Sorry, superior is a relative term, there is no more simple way to put it. For there to be a superior, ther must be an inferior, they rely on each other to exist.

It's like larger... there must be something smaller so that that thing can be larger.

This is not even an opinion or proveable thing... it's by definition how the word works. It's a relative term, I don't know how to make it more simple for you.

Keep trying... like I said, try spelling and grammar, it's my weak spot :)

How would you discover resemblences or differences without comparing something? What would it resembe or differ from? Again, sorry, it's a relative term comparison is built into it by definition.

It's not a debateable subject, it just is a relative term.

Main Entry: 1su·pe·ri·or
Pronunciation: \su̇-ˈpir-ē-ər\
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French, from Latin, comparative of superus upper, from super over, above

Continue to think what you want, it is a relative term.

I don't think the Bugatti is a good analogy. GT is classy, neat, beautiful. That car is freaking ugly
