Now, you see, this is an example of thread copying that doesn't work. The cars thread works as we're constantly talking about cars, therefore folk find out about cars they didn't know about just by browsing these forums.
This thread doesn't work as there is not enough chat about obscure games that you didn't already know about.
There seems to be a lot of threads that are just copied from one forum to another (see all the "rate a GT1/GT2/GT3/GT4 car" threads) as they were successful in their previous forum, so someone starts it in another forum to gain, what they see as, a successful thread. To me, this is annoying as you get threads titled the same, but in different forums. Also, having a successful thread in your name gets you no kudos whatsoever. Copying a thread title to try and get you those invisible kudos just shows a lack of imagination, as you can't even come up with anything original.
This thread proves it doesn't always work. How long before we get a "You learn something new... - Threads you didn't know existed, until now!" thread?*
This is not an excuse to create one...
