Friday nights with some of the guys from work are huge fun. We're not serious but love racing around like we have more money than sense so we play 'Cat & Mouse'.
Since there are 6 GT5 players at work, plus a couple of outsiders, we pair ourselves up (usually partnering from the same department) and one drivers picks a Mini from the suggested list, while the other picks whatever he likes - usually a nice powerful but not lightweight car.
The winning team is the first to get their Mini across the finish line and anything goes.
The power driver can choose to give their partner a boost along a straight or attempt to run other teams' cars off the road.
Obviously, damage and penalties are turned off.
When you're competing with a RL mate against other RL mates with your headset on, it's tremendous fun.
Give it a go.
