You'd think that so close to the release of GT4 all these idiotic threads about what Polyphany should and shouldn't do would slow down a bit, but they seem to be gaining momentum. Do any of you actually think that anything you have to say at this point (or at any point, for that matter) matters in the slightest? This forum is the biggest waste of space on the GTPlanet, tied with the Drifters Only forum.

deal with it, let them do what they want, stop complaining and pointing fingers.....let them dawdle in their dreams

:odd:

I really don't see the point of this thread... the rumour and speculation forum isn't just about wishing something about GT4 but (between other things) share our thoughts, new info, etc...

What is wrong with that? This is the place to be if you want to know what's up with the next GT.

This is the place to make a thread about what you think GT4 should be like, what you hope it will be like. It is a done deal. Now just wait.

Not just "what you think GT4 should be like, what you hope it will be like". Have you noticed the forums title ??

Rumour & Speculation

And yes, some people continue to wish... too late for that I agree but what can be done? Most of them don't even know GT4 is almost done  :)

You are, of course, correct milefile. However, you can just ignore those threads. Let the people have their wishes and dreams.

I've pretty much stopped thinking about GT4 now. It's time to rest, and patiently wait for the time to elapse. The more you think about it, the more excited you'll get, and the more likely you are to be disappointed.

I take this tack with all sequels.

I'm just extremely curious and impatient so everytime i find some new information about this game I share with others.

this post on the other hand, milefile, is useless.

I agree. This post is useless.

I hope it's only $5.00. And that every successive GT game is a free upgrade.

Look.... You don't have to read these threads, in fact it only makes you look insane if you complain about the fact that you chose to read them

OK, so if that's true, then should Jordan put in a GT4 forum now, so we can report new confirmed information about it? Should we be reporting new facts about GT4 at all?

I agree with you that some of the threads posted here have been very idiotic in the last week or so, but isn't the job of the mods to get rid of them? Are there mods for this forum?

Are you saying that all the threads posted here within the last week or so have been pointless?

I don't mind knowing ahead of time what is going to be in a game, but you obviously don't. So, should we all be forced to see things your way, is that it?

*cough*Nazi*cough*

Yes. My plan is to force you all to see things my way

I read an article about it. Everything I need or want to know is there. No fictitious car list. No NASCAR. Just the facts from Polyphany.

Rumor and Speculation. When did this become a good thing?

I agree. Its pointless; since that there is a pretty good chuck of GT4 info out there... There is not that many more things to Speculate.

The Rumor & Speculation forum has it's legitimacies though, and you have completely overlook them in my opinion. It's nice you can read an article about GT4, but most people can't, or don't, and they would like to know the details too. That is one of the reasons for this forum.

BTW, where did you read this article?

Will you post the information from this article? I wouldn't mind hearing what you read from this article.

Sometimes facts start off as rumors, and I find it kind of fun to know, after a game becomes available, that some of the rumors were true or false. I'm sure other people do to. It's entertaining, to say the least. I think you would disagree, and so what, but why voice your opinion about it in a place other than the Opinion forum?

So, when did "Rumor and Speculation" become a good thing? Since now, I guess, or perhaps it's up to our own opinion when it became/becomes a good thing or not, and this is not the place for opinions to be expressed.:D

I agree, to a point, but I read an article in PSM's new issue that PD was still looking in to things, and Ferrari was still a posibility for online play.

Perhaps you don't want anymore speculation because it would ruin the game for you to know everything. OK, so don't come here then, and don't read anymore articles about GT4. But you don't have to bash the Romur & Speculation forum at the same time.

Do you get my point?

It was in some game magazine somebody loaned me. I can't remember the name but I might remember it if I heard it. They interviewed the car designers and track designers. I've seen quotes from it on GTP.

Yes. I get your point. And I'm not saying I have a problem with this. Who said that 'I hated' all of the wishlist threads? I think that they are pointless. Nothing else.

I never said you hated anything, but you did eluded it when you agreed with milefile though. He bashed the Rumor & Speculation forum, and eluded that he hated it, and you agreed with him.

Perhaps you want to take it back then?

Pointless, how? Why? A lot of good and pertinent items are revealed here, and that makes this place relevant, not pointless. :D

:odd:

This isn't really taking us anywere.

This forum is needed by the GT community.
Don't like it? Oh well. Buh Bye :)

Just let the thread die.

There was an English (as in the country not just the language) car magazine that did a feature on polyphony testing and doing sound recordings on some cars.
s'called EVO magazine (issue 35 I think, don't quote me on it though) also where some of the rumours about certain cars being in the game, since photos were taken of polyphony taking photos of them (confused?)
