I am currently involved in a thread called "The worst you've dealt with online" and I got to thinking after having some awesome races last night, that what are the best races you have had online?
I was in an untuned Honda NSX- One other person in the room was in an untuned Mazda RX7. We both had sport hard tyres and we had loads of fun fighting down Circuit de la Sarthe.
I'm starting up a new series. We recently did some testing, and it was fantastic. We had cars so closely matched we were going three wide through corners. It was incredible. I'm really looking forward to a proper season.
Here's something really fun. Do you guys know the extra bus stop chicane at Tsukuba? It's extremely fun and challenging regardless of the car. It's a must try
Me and my friend were racing Caterhams all last night at Monaco, and Tskuba and even with racing softs (with no driver aids) they can be a handful at times. We were extremely close at monaco. He was going up the inside making passes and on the last lap I was leading going into the harbor chicane and he stuffed me in the wall
My best race was a 600pp streetcar race on Spa. It was 4 laps, I was using an Audi R8 4.2 and three of us were battling for first place. I went into lap 4 as 3rd and followed the two in front of me into Eau Rouge. I had a bit more speed coming out of the corner and they were side by side on the straight. I then passes both of them by going in between them, braked late into the corner and didn't give away my place so I won.
600pp streetcar race on Spa always gives me a good challenge with my ferrari 458 italia, few days ago i gotta say i had the best online race ever, 8 laps on SPA and i was battling vs a new 2012 skyline and i ended up winning for 0.80 seconds...
I hate the 500 PP ones, given that it seems i can't find a good car and good set up and also i refuse of using everyone cars ( BMW CSL or Evora )
