Hey folks, not sure if anyone else here is in love with the DVD format as much as I am... but I figured some of you must have some DVDs to claim. Post your DVD collection and share some of your favorite movies with other members of the GTPlanet community.

A list of my DVD collection can be found here. It's definitely not anything huge... but it's not bad considering I'm a (just graduated) high-school student who bought all but about three of those listed there. :)

So... what DVDs do you have?

Aw, jeez. Off the top of my head

Pi (as in the mathematical symbol)
Blade Runner
Starship Troopers
The Third Man (old one with Orson Welles - when he was slim!)
Phantom Menace (dud film, but good for testing subwoofers)
O Brother Where Art Thou?
The Big Lebowski (I love Cohen Brothers movies)
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Gladiator (second half of a 2 for $40 Australian deal)
Formula One Season 2000
The Simpsons Season 1 (season 2 coming soon!)
The Zero Effect
JFK
Dark City
Two Hands (excellent Australian crime heist film)
Radiohead's 'Meeting People is Easy'
Seven Worlds Collide (concert video with Neil Finn)
Clerks
Dogma (Kevin Smith is a genius)
A couple of Sean Connery James Bond DVD's

- all I can think of for the moment.

I really thought Pi was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. No kidding.

Really? Wow - I loved that film. It's very intense, I see how that might turn some people off

Oh yeah, forgot Dead Man.

I didn't think it was intense. I thought it was very boring. I kind of found the entire movie annoying too... Don't ask me how... I just did. :thatsodd:

These things happen.

Pulp Fiction!

Great movie!
As a matter of fact me and M5 were just talking about renting it, but maby I should just buy it!

Oh yeah, I forgot Pulp Fiction, too. Great movie, but no special features at all on the DVD. And it is the ultimate movie to have special features.

Hey Klos.

Nice to have you back. I'm sure M5Power will love your status bar!

"Mine is the one that says Bad Mother F-er on it."

My favourite scene in that is when Travolta comes out of the toilet to find Willis pointing his gun at him.

Who'd have thought there was a special facial expression for 'oh, the guy I've been sent to kill has my gun and is pointing it at me'.

I'll never eat pop-tarts again.

OH YEAH! Good part.
My favorite for some odd reason was when Travolta accidentally shot that kid in the face!
Is it bad that I laughed my arse off at that part?

I have more than I'll admit to :p I used to buy lot's of DVD's, but I ran out of good movies so now it's tapered down quite a bit. Maybe 1 every week or so. I've also had a DVD player practically since the beginning so I've had lot's of time to amass my collection...

I had posted this picture back in September last year. I have added another rack+

Currently I'm having a system built to house my collection, and I'm thinking about getting rid of about 50-100. (Junk movies...)
