Since the updates for Gran Turismo Sport have seized and Gran Turismo 7 is on its way (along with many classic PD original circuits, which were absent in Sport), what was, in your opinion, the best original Sport exclusive track PD gave us and, while we are at it, the worst? Your reasoning could be anything, a track could drive perfectly for you, it produced great racing or you just liked the look if it. Same goes for your least favourite tracks.
Favourite has to be DT Seaside. Such a daunting challenge in whatever car class you pick, always produces exciting races with multiple excellent passing points. Fantastic scenery as well, flows well in both directions, which is such a rarity.

Least favourite has to be St. Croix. Three layouts for six possible configurations and they ALL feel the same. Almost every corner looks the same, just trees lining both sides of the road. The public roads seem to lead nowhere, they're way too wide, too clean and smooth, not enough road markings, etc.. The only challenge from these roads are cheap bumps right on the racing line of corners to upset cars. Honesty, I have no idea what PD had in mind when they designed this complex. Feels like such a total waste of time and resources.
Easy favorite is DT Seaside.

Don't really have a least favorite (I hate dirt) but I dislike having so many layouts for Maggiore, St. Croix, Sardenga and Tokyo.
I like DT too !

I despise rally.

I don't like SS X, I find it plenty unrealistic and annoying to drive with a weird decor, feels like and old arcade game track with flashy things around and no imagination in terms of track design.
Too tough to pick one favourite (maybe St Croix) and looking at the list, even my worst, BB raceway, you've got to give a nod to all the tracks for how good they are to race on. Much better than a lot of real world tracks.
My favourite by far is Alsace Village. It just has such a nice flow to it. I use it as the testing ground to evaluate every new car in my stable. If they feel bad on Alsace then off to the car crusher they go.
A lot of the new fictionals are just god awful to be honest. Saint Croix and Dragon Trail Gardens are the worst offenders though, it feels like an AI were made to design the layout. I don't really have a single favorite.
I won't count the ovals or the dirt tracks as I never use them. Won't count reverse tracks a they all stink.

Seaside produces the best racing, it really does, the last corner is a work of genius with the multiple lines and the ability to prioritise mid corner or end of straight speed. The big issue i have with it though is the COD, it's just that bit too risky and throws a real element of lottery in.

TBH I think Maggiorie is actually the better designed track, I am just slow there. But it is a wonderful race track, really is.
I'm gonna be devil's advocate here and not pick the obvious Dragon Trail/Maggiore/Kyoto trifecta.

My top 3 would be Tokyo South Inner (the one with docks section), Sardegna A and St Croix B.

Sardgena A despite being basically a big square, manages to make it interesting with slightly different 90 degree corners and that high speed blind chicane. The track's narrowness always make it a survival race. Plus great scenery and the only track in the game that feels like an actual road (looking at you Alsace).

St Croix is generally a disaster, but the B layout is a hidden gem. It just keeps the great flowing corners without the repeated 90 degree sections. Unfortunately, it doesn't see much use online so it's a bit unfair to pick it as a favourite.

I know most people hate Tokyo because it's grey and dull, but being a fan of Wangan it's not a fault for me. It's part of the realism. East layout is too biased for top speed cars, and Central layout is too claustrophobic. South is the most balanced but I chose Inner because the docks section is more technically challenging than the lottery chicane jump in Outer. There are a mix of high speed corners and low speed sections, elevation changes and the quirky pitlane entry. Plus it's all wall bound so no track limit shenanigans here. If you're a smart driver you will always do well here by capitalising on other's mistakes. Love it :)

Least favourite would be any oval or rally courses, for obvious reasons. And quick rundown on the others:
Alsace - too wide and too many similar vague apex corners that goes on forever.
BMB Infield A/B - not a fan of roval tracks in general, and A is basically a watered down Daytona Road.
Maggiore - would be up there without the first 4 corners going forward. Ruins the flow and prime track limit abuse heaven.
DTS - not a fan of CoD lottery element (if they remove the kerbs that would make it 10x better).
DTG - very close to making top 3, but the sausage kerb lottery in the first chicane ruined it.
Kyoto - very nice flow but the tall kerbs are immersion breaking and scenery is very bland (ironic because Kyoto is probably the most picturesque city in Japan).
Sardegna B/C - B has good flow in the first half but the last half (after the hairpin) just feels awkward to me for some reason. It feels better in reverse but still not quite right. Also the layout kinda looks like a Catalunya copycat. C layout is basically just a triangle so meh.

I love DTS. It's just so much fun to race on and it feels great when you nail the cod.

I'm not a fan of Tokyo Expressway. The wall penalties are brutal and I dont enjoy it enough to learn the layouts properly.
To be honest my least favorite tracks in the game are the N Nordschliefe and 24th. They are long and have many twists/turns that you have to remember in order to master them, but I got all gold in the circuit experiences, it took me 4-5 motnhs to master each track. And how to you transfer replays to here/Discord or Twitter? To you have to send it to your e-mail? Circuit de la Sarthe was a tough one too cause the last part always gets me, you have to take it slow!
People sleep on Blue Moon Bay - Infield A so much, that's my favourite course in the whole game. The racing is super close, I've never had a bad race there ever.

Dragon Trail is up there, but I found it to be really overused. Basically turned into Gran Turismo's Nuketown by the end. Maggiore is also pretty awesome but I like BMB more.

Worst original track for me has to be the smaller version of Tokyo Expressway, the inner loop that's shaped like a donut. The track is so narrow and the layout is unappealing. Not to mention the wall-riders. Not sure why anyone would ever want to race a car there.

But seriously Blue Moon Bay's road course variant is sick and you all need to love it more.

Fully agree with this, Infield A is my third pick behind Sardegna B and Dragon Trail Gardens. All three are so underappreciated, they all produce great racing. The only things I don't like about BMB are the final turn back onto the oval, and the transition from the banking into the first turn.

For the first point, I feel like either the barrier on the inside needs to be pushed back, or the radius of the corner needs to be opened up. As it is, trying to run side-by-side through there is an absolute death sentence.

As for T1, the transition from steep banking into the corner is just... kind of stupid. I think it needs progressive banking or something, it'd be a suspension-destroyer in real life the way it is now.
In the early stages of playing, of the above tracks I think Special Stage Route X was one of my favourites...... yes, I know, but at least you could play late at night and drink beer while clocking up miles and credits easily! 😂

Now it's a toss-up between Autodrome Lago Maggiore – GP (which I really didn't like at first) and DTS.

My least favourite is probably Alsace – Village II, especially the late evening race. I really cannot get the hang of that track going the wrong way round!
St. Croix B or B II and DTS. Maybe the most pure racing fun I've had was at St. Croix in a League race in the Nissan 350z. Great track for passing and getting a little sideways while door to door.

DTS is a close 2nd because I know it so well and the CoD always provides either laughter or heartbreak. Good times.
Sardegna B is my favorite, I just like the way it flows and I've had some good races there. I really hate Alsace and St. Croix!
