OK. I know what my answer would be, but which is your favourite? GT1, GT2, or GT3? Personally, I'd have to say GT3. I know it hasn't got as many tracks as the GT2, or as many cars, but the graphics are so much better, which is very important to me. What do you guys think?

There have been lots of comparison threads. Honestly, GT2 and GT3 can't be compared because they're on different consoles. I guess you could say, do you want content or graphics quality - but when the next game is released it will have better graphics than GT3 and probably ten times the amount of cars and tracks.

true thats damn true the graphics are blazing with detail, beautifully crisp spound, no as intense as GT2 but a classic no the less.

Why would anybody be at these forums if they hated the GT Series?

Anyway - I like GT1's originality and handling style of the viper, wheels locked in the opposite way you are going!

GT2 had millions of cars and tracks, but crude graphics.

GT3 had a total remake cars and tracks.

I like GT2 alot for it's cars and tracks, and GT3 for it's graphics, GT1 for style. I cn't make an overall decission right now but I think that all of them kick but!

OWWW, Somebody vote for the games that inspiried GT3.

respectivily gt2 its because its got the most cars the most tracks and racing mods and championships I reckon gt4 has to do a lot for it to beat gt2 now

I say the best one on PSone is GT
and the Best on PS2 is GT3. Cause it's hard to compare two games that are different systems.

I like the first GT cause it is the original and it wasn't as glitchy as GT2.

I go with GT2 actually, now, the controls, sound and graphics are heads and tails better in GT3 (which goes without saying), but GT2 brought alot more to the table. More cars, more tracks, more modifications available (namely, the Racing Mods). It was also the first time that Rally was introduced, and they had planned on adding in Drag Racing. Now, I myself think that the Rally and/or the Drag racing is fairly useless (Well, I can't say that for sure 'bout the Drag Racing, since it never REALLY has existed). It's just not fleshed out enough to make it a viable option. That being said, it doesn't take away from the Developers ideas - innovation.

GT3 (while incredible) is just more of the same. A wise man once said "If you can't innovate, duplicate" (Ok, I always say that, whenever I'm rippin' off some code on the 'net, and I think I'm the only one, but I'm hoping it catches on)

What's the only new thing in GT3... Monaco, Tokyo? (I don't recall if Tokyo was in GT2 - it's been a long time...)

I've got GT2 and GT3. And like you, it was GT2 that really got me into the whole GT thing. But, since I bought GT3, GT2 hasn't had a look in.
