Today - I decided to have another session on Photomode. To begin with, I took the Fiat 500 lounge out into a one make practice race on Trial Mountain - and got some 'monochrome' shots.
Then I done the same thing with the Gallardo LP560 - getting some nice 'cool'/'warm' shots. Finishing up with an excellently set-up shot, with 4 different coloured Lambos all positioned in a diamond shape - at the top of the TM straight.

Yesterday I took my white F430 out for a traffic cruise on the Côte d'Azur (in an online cruise lobby with friends). It was lovely to drive as the clutch is really smooth and the power (stock) feels just right for both city speeds and driving fast.
Than I went back to my garage, got my dark red metallic XJ220 out on the street and kept stalling it. Damn thing won't launch off the line in 1st unless you reeeally push the throttle. I wonder if the real car is like this, it's close to being undriveable on anything other than a race track. The handling is terrible as well, so it didn't take much time until its nose kissed the wall. I called the French police (used lobby chat to ask for a white crappy Peugeot), when it arrived the driver braked too late and crashed into the back of my XJ220.

Awww good times.

Later I had an LFA cruise on Special Stage Route 5 in that lobby with those friends. Was fun too. Oh, and I did an SLR photoshooting in San Galgano Abbey. I used a completely stock one in silver, very luxurious and beautiful car I think.

Last night I let one of my newer B-spec guys race in the X2011 for some championship. He obliterated the competition, of course. After that, I went to see what was waiting for me in the UCD, a Chaparral 2D. Now I'm scared to buy it because it's bloody expensive and if I do buy it, there will probably be a 2J next, or another expensive car.

I then went to arcade and did a few laps of Nordschleife in my new Bentley Speed 8.

Today I decided that with all the online trouble and wasted time I've spent the last two years in lobbies it's not worth it to keep the 2.12 update. I'll just do offline racing/cruising/photos with hybrids in GT5 for now and play other games online (there are many car-related releases to come this year that interest me on the PS3, and there's still the proper PC I might get one day to play games on...).

I took cars of similar power to weight ratios, tire compound, and downforce or lack thereof around the Nurburgring to compare lap times and recorded them in an excel file.

Today I raced in few lobbies on my GTP account with old slim. Then turned on my older fatty on my Rayzah account, and drove around some swell chassis swapped, spoiler-less, tuner-built monsters offline. And it was good.

As part of a regular Saturday night session, me and some buddies did a 21-lap Daytona Nascar race... there were 3 of us bump-drafting nose-to-tail all the way, and I won it by less than 1/1000th of a second... the results screen said the difference between P1 and P2 was "0.000".

I saved the replay for posterity.
