The RedBull X1 or X2010 as Pd likes to call it - which brings an idea that we'll see such BS car in GT6 or GT"x" called X2015 or whatever - it's a car made especially for grinding in the world of "The Real Grinding Simulator".

It finished off B-Spec for me. Aside from testing it out myself for ~20 minutes when I first got mine, that's literally all the use its gotten.

And a nightmare with the pad. The S.Vettel Challenge (required for platinum GT5) is just a part of the marketing strategy plan to sell more wheels, tzzz.

I couldn't be happier PD decided to team up with Newey and Red Bull to create this awesome machine. It's a challenge to drive quickly and beautiful to look at, especially in carbon fiber.

Nor does tuning a Race Car or driving a Ferrari F1 car around the streets of Tokyo. You'd never do these things in real life. All the FGT and X2010 are is an attempt to create their own F1 car and also to build the fastest race car IN THE WORLD using modern science and maths. We can nitpick it all day long. But it doesn't change the fact.

In my honest opinion, I love it. Because it based on the idea of being the fastest race car. Which is something that's really missing from racing today, you can't be crazy and outside the box because someone's gonna say it's "to fast" or it's "to dangerous". We need that kind of outlet in my opinion. I can't say the X2010 ruins GT5's gameplay, as it's optional to drive.

However this topic is just a flame war waiting to happen. I also don't really understand the hate. I mean, what makes you hate it?

I use it for grinding and played online with my friend with it but apart it I don't use.

I've only driven it for glitching and easy A-spec wins, haven't used it for grining. Bob drives it a lot.
I don't think it should even be in the game, you may as well put santa's sleigh in the game in terms of imaginary vehicles. Santa's sleigh is a lot faster and a lot more realistic.

I love it. Ok, so it completely obliterates everything else in the field, but then again so does the FGT. Its not real, but technically neither are the Ford GT-LM, NSX-LM, the RX8-LM, so why so much complaint about being "imaginary"?
I really enjoy the challenge of trying to drive it consistently with my DS3

I like it. Huge red bull f1 fan. This car could become reality in a few years who knows.

Sadly I have two as I won them both. Also can't sell them or trade them because of the new restrictions.

I think that it's OK. Very cheap and very broken yes, but also very useful on occasion. Plus it's a very unique experience

Red Bull X2010 its a kinda boring to drive because its easy to drive and you win everything with it but still a excelent car

Red Bull did an excellent job developing this car!!
It's an amazing machine
Had a lot of fun with it during the Vettel challenges.

For me it was usefull for
-getting B-spec driver to peak of career (Sunday Cup over and over)
-boring Indy-endurance race
-grinding the last one-and-a-half level (and complete my garage with the money)

Since I finished the Vettel challenges I haven't used it anymore, and I have 3
But it still looks great!

I loved the concept behing the X2010, the way they threw the rulebook out of the window to make the fastest race car on the planet, but I think they just took the idea too far. The car is just too fast. It doesn't feel possible, even though I'm sure it is.

Maybe if PD and Red Bull had held back a bit, say, maybe if they didn't put the fan in, then the whole car might just feel a little more plausible. That might even have kept the car a little more slippery - I've always been bewildered that such a light and powerful car can keep so firmly planted on the track. It annoys me, that this 'raw, ultimate race car on the limits of technology' is so accessible.

I love the concept, but I don't like the execution. If only the designers had just held back enough for this car to feel actually within reach, and if they'd made it an absolute pig - a real challenge to drive at speed - then I'm sure I would have loved the car too.
