Okay, I just got done with a race on Monaco, in Professional Mode in Arcade Mode, and the R34 I was racing against, wich was annoying, got my anger up.🤬 So, I rammed him into the wall after turn 1!:sly: Well, I just hope this is better in GT4, the AI, basically, cause, IMHO, the AI is a joke!

i've read this 5 times and i still dont get it. what was going on with the r34 ???

Yes the AI is crap, no I never ram it into walls, my frustration is that I always end up too far ahead.

Hopefully the AI will be a lot better in GT4.. When it comes out in 12 years.

reguardles of the AIs uselessness I rarely even tap them.. even if they spin me out

The AI can be annoying, but they're usually not a big deal.

Ive posted about this in the GT4 forum, in GT4 the AI will actually compensate for your position on the track, and will avoid hitting or nudging you.

In GT3, especially on the open course like Grand Vally and Apricot, I get behind them coming into a corner and then use them as my brakes and run them off the course. Usually works too. So anoying.........

I would recommend getting a couple of your friends together and linking up. It is a whole new game ,you don't worry about the A.I because your racing a real person. We also have a "ghost night" and set a fastest lap ghost and everyone takes their turn beating the ghost. It keeps getting faster and faster. If you have always used the controller buy a wheel that makes the game different in many ways. I am still not bored of #3 yet and have raced it about every day since it's release date, even though I have the new force pro and gt4p I still play gt3 because it is linkable and that never gets boring.

I find it's not worth hitting the AI because you always come off worse.

Yes, indeed, and my blood pressure took a turn for the better once I accepted that fact. The smallest nudge from them can put you in a near spin, but deliberately ramming them at their braking point, from full speed, usually just bumps them outside a little and ruins your cornering anyway. So there's no percentage in it.

So you're better off passing them clean and getting on with it, easy enough to do as the AI have the most ridiculous breaking points ever, including on braking on the EXIT of a corner

Why would you "hit" another car? There are times when you might rub coming out of a corner but I never hit anyone intentional. When you race i-link enough you will find out that not everyone thinks the same, driving styles vary you have to study another drivers moves sometimes for several laps to figure them out. When racing against other skilled players you can't just run off and leave them you have to be so critical and patient to find where they are weak or slower than you. It's gonna be a whole different Gran Turismo when racing online. against humans and not against computer AI. (some people will have a rude awakening, some won't) It will not reward the guy who makes the fastest lap but those who tie a series of error free smooth consistent kwik laps together in a single race. Damn, sorry about the book guys.

I take my Evo VII GSR w/ only wt. red., sport muffler, VCD, AYC, and sport tires, and leave the AI on professional mode in acrade mode in RUINS.... its sad. And then when you have a highly tuned car, they PUT YOU AGAINST JGTC CARS...... i h8 that.:irked:
