Anyway, i searched for the mitsubishi m342i, and i've never seen it before in my life, and we don't have it over here, so that's that.

Oh yeah! I forgot about that one too. I can get that for around £80 i think, and i've liked it for a while. Still, it's just a bit behind the 02 x3 and the se k700

OK, i've looked for the o2 x3 in phones for you (£50 fingers crossed), and they have none. So, i went to plan b, and tried to find the orange spv c500. Nope. None anywhere. Plan c, try and find the o2 x3 in other places. Couldn't find it anywhere. So, i went to the final backup plan, and had a look for the Sony Ericsson K700i. They have them everywhere, but the cheapest place i'd seen was the Orange shop, so that's where i went. Anyway, the guy got the phone out for me, and i had a play around with it. After a little while, i completely fell in love with it. So, i've now decided i'm getting that. It has everything i need, looks great, is much better made than either of the other two phones.

So, i'm definately going for the Sony Ericsson K700i now, but not from the orange shop. I've seen it in The Link for £100 with a free bluetooth headset (here), so that's what i'll get.

Thanks for the help on deciding! I probably wouldn't have even thought about a sony ericsson untill it was mentioned here!

Thanks! I think i've definately made the right desicion,

Jon

Meh, it has bluetooth, i'll upload my photos each night, and anyway, it's got a 41mb memory. 5mb would have been enough for me, but it's great to have lots of extra if you need it. I'm happy :D

Well I could afford it...But I am supposed to be saving abit.

I've got an excuse - can't think of anything else for my birthday :P Anyways, i'm getting annoyed with my current one because of the extremely limited space. I have 3 photos on the memory for god's sake, and i can't take any photos because the memory is full.:ouch:

When I have to get my own phones and stuff, I will probably shoot for an Ericcson.
 In the UK at 13 you'd aleady have one.

I did, but it was only a Siemens A50, and the T630 is only my 2nd phone.

What reselotion you taking at?

I have quite a few 'large' images on mine 640x480, bout 6.

I got one when i was 11 :D My first was a Nokia 3510i, second a 3200, third, and current, a 3220, and my fourth, yes fourth, will be a SE K700i.

What resolution? max, ie 640x480. I did have like 7 shots, but now i have a video on here, it's capable of 3.

Jacks brick is pretty good for videos, but they only lst 9 secs. My mates 3220 goes on for ages and still has loads of pics...

Well, he's either deleted most of his ringtones, or his graphics folder. I guess i could do that, but it still doesn't solve my issue of getting images off thing, sharing stuff with friends via bluetooth, and mp3 ringtones. It wouldn't be so bad if it atleast had infrared. The 3200 had infrared. I didn't really care, untill we got a laptop with an ir port, and i sent some stuff. Sadly, the buying of the laptop, and the breaking of the phone. They were together for one week, and then the nokia died. I got the new phone for xmas, so i've only had it 6 months or so

Siemens phones rule, I loathe Nokias.

That's weird, it's completely the opposite for me. I hate seimens phones, and love nokias. I don't mind the design of seimens, but the menus are awful.

A good tip for mobile phone to PC connectivity is to buy a cheap Infra Red port for your desktop PC. I bought mine in a PC store for 14 euros (small IrDA receiver to USB).

You don't need a specific IrDA receiver for it to work, the cheapest will do. But deffinitly check a PC shop and not a phone/multimedia shop.

My Siemens A50 was much much easier to navigate than the comparable 3310/3330.

I don't know about newer models but I think they still use the same button system which is very good.

But nothing to the Joystick and side buttons of the Sony Ericcson designs :D

Perhaps i should explain, it's not that the menus are hard to navigate, it's that i don't like the menus and the font ect. I think it looks cheap rather than the classy menus of nokias and sony ericssons. Sony ericsson menus are better than nokias though.
