Which is the class that you do worst with? For me is gr4. For some reason, I just cannot do anything with those cars. I usually avoid those races. I enjoy driving them, but I am just not competitive. I'm best with gr1 and gr2, and sometimes the one makes.

Agree with ststav01... I find GR1 quite challenging... but like all the group categories, to be competitive you have to have a decent car setup and then practice, practice, practice.

When read the topic, I thought I race better at Gr 4. Checked Jason site, a bit surprise that it is track depending that no option suits me.:dopey:

It’s Gr.1 for me, absolutely love driving the Bugatti VGT but if that car isn’t competitive on the days circuit I’m screwed. Dislike driving the others apart from occasionally the 919 but makes my arms tired after a few laps

I struggle a lot with one make because most of the time it’s a car that I wouldn’t give the time of day. I’m still new to Sport, but from day one I was going for the faster cars.

The one make feels alien to me with its typical slowness/sluggishness and really over all different feel (shift points, braking distance etc.)

But it’s good to get out the comfort zone.

GR.4 and slower. I rely very much on sense of speed for braking and cornering. GR.4 is a little slow to get it right and I have to rely more on brake markers which makes it harder to adjust when coming at a corner at a different speed or when a car is blocking my view. I only do well in GR.4 on Monza since there it's just accelerate or brake hard with little in between.

Can't wait to get to play sport mode in VR, so much easier with proper sense of speed and full view.

Hmm, the data doesn't quite back up my gut feeling on this. Apparently I'm really good in GR.4 on DT Seaside.

Dragon Trail - Seaside
GR1 1:23.050 1,968 / 49,886 - 3.9450%
GR2 1:29.895 2,730 / 25,828 - 10.5699%
GR3 1:40.331 21,005 / 99,002 - 21.2167%
GR4 1:45.515 1,679 / 89,450 - 1.8770%
GRX 1:39.793 969 / 26,989 - 3.5904%
N400 2:00.957 2,863 / 24,089 - 11.8851%

Perhaps for once I put some effort into qualifying.
What also stands out is how bad I am at the Nxxx classes.

My best was in GR.1 Blue Moon Bay Speedway - Infield A
GR1 0:56.832 325 / 18,498 - 1.7569% 34 / 2,951 - 1.1522% 2 / 372 - 0.5376% 3/17/2018 11:59:35 PM
34 in the region, closest I've ever gotten to the top 10, never knew until now :)

Gr.B on super sport tyres.

LOL @ 630hp 1ton on what feels like Chinese ling long tyres.

Gr.1 and Gr.X you get used to - I put that into the Tomahawks, the F1 cars on Forza and the McLaren Ultimates. Your brain has to recalibrate to that speed but its tiring I admit, especially on the "Ring.

Gr1. Fun but too fast for me. Little mistakes cost so much time.

I'm at my best in onemakes. Not necessarily in the FWD ones though. Pretty comfortable in Gr4 too.

Absolutely my worst are gr.1 followed by gr. X , so I've almost never raced with them ...

We haven't the ideal tracks for Gr.1 (Le Mans, Silverstone, Sebring)..... In narrow tracks is impossible to have a nice race.....

GR. 1, I still can't push any of those cars to the limit even when I think I'm going fast. I currently have to run my TCS at 2 just to have any kind of reasonable exit speed. I'd say the same for GR. 2, but my times are relatively decent despite feeling in over my head.

The class I've really fallen in love with lately is GR. B. The cars in that class are so drift friendly that you end up having some fun races where people have inconsistent lap times due to letting the car go sideways a little too long. So you end up with a lot of fun passing opportunities when they pick a good course for the class (Blue Moon Infield for example).

I'm going to say Gr. B, mainly due to the fact that the races are on road courses with SH tires. I haven't raced particularly well with that combination.

Slightly off topic, but what do those numbers mean? Is it a ratio of pace you have to close to or something?
