I am not the only one, I went to go check my subscriptions at www.youtube.com and this comes up:

"Http/1.1 Service Unavailable"

This is pretty rare for such a big site, has anyone heard about it and what may be wrong?

That was quite an alarmist post; in any case, it appears to be functioning normally at the time of my posting, so perhaps we'll hear more about it in due time.

I would caution against any unfounded speculation, though, as the quote relating to Chinese hackers being "not too far fetched" can easily turn into "is plausible" and then "is likely" before anyone has even had a chance to really critically analyze the situation.

Regardless, I'm sure Google/YouTube team will honor our inquiries.
