Hey guys, I'll be starting up a let's play on FTB soon and I'm trying to make it as good as possible and I figured the best way to start was with a good intro (duh :dopey:). So I was hoping you guys could comment on how you feel about it, what you like, what you dislike, etc. The clip after the episode title will be some mundaine task that I'll be doing as the music fades out, and when the music is off is when I would start talking (got the idea from BdoubleO100's Building with BdoubleO series). Anyway, thanks for the feedback that I get. :)

 I don't know about that. But it seems that one person who came to this thread disliked the video (I have in unlisted so I know for sure). :(

It's good enough. I felt it was a tad too short. Fast forward clips usually spend a bit of time on screen so that the audience has time to soak in all that stuff being thrown at us. That's how I see it. I think if you extended the the fast-forwarded clip by 2 or 3 seconds, it'll be perfect.

Actually, I'd ditch the second-long shot of your inventory or whatever from 0:03 to 0:04. As soon as I saw it, I was expecting a lot of data to be scrolling all across the screen, but that didn't even happen so then I'm left confused and now I have to observe the FF walking.

This is coming from a non-MC player.

Watching it again after some sleep I'd have to agree with that. I feel like there needs to be something besides just "feed the beast" written, though. And I need to find a way that I can make the writing come from being smaller (like so small you don't see it), I think that would help a bit as it seems a bit odd how it looks right now.

The fast forwarded footage is just a random clip I used to test out the idea, it'll be replaced with more feed the beast related stuff that should fit better.

Okay so I pretty much scrapped everything except the first little clip and this is what I have now:

The music is a lot more calm and serious which I like because that fits better with the tone of what my videos will be (serious but fun, hopefully ). The clip after the episode title will be some mundaine task that I'll be doing as the music fades out, and when the music is off is when I would start talking (got the idea from BdoubleO100's Building with BdoubleO series).

Now I'm working on an outro screen that will have some of my other vids as annotations as well as stuff like "Enjoyed the video? Then why not leave a like!".
