I'm not sure if any of you knew this, but the other day when I was trying to watch a YouTube video it stalled on me. I pressed the 'down' arrow on the keyboard and the circling dots in the middle which signify loading turns into the game Snake!
Although in this version of snake you can't go off-screen and come back on the opposite side, you're snake will just die. Try it out, it's pretty cool:).

I'd love to try this but I can't get a vid to stall on me now.

Edit: There we go, that is awesome. :D Good to know.

Its been around for ages, you don't need the vid to stall you can play it whenever, people have purposely made vids of 15mins of blank black to play it on.

I can only get it to play when it's stalled.:odd:

👍 This. Also, sometimes the logo on google.com is interactive as well.

It is very old (I know because it's the only way I survive the buffering :D )

It's an easter-egg that's been around for a long time - just press the left key on any video. You don't even need to wait for a stall.

You are about an internet millennium too late my friend.

I can't view Youtube where I am but I'm sure it cannot compete with the Google Pacman doodle which lost me and my colleagues a whole day of work! I even have it saved as my IE homepage so it's always there when I want to play (At last, I've found a use for Internet Explorer!).

Son, this thread has changed my life. Youtube will never be the same again.
