Britain's love affair with lightweight sport cars continues as Zenos has unveiled their new E10 R.

Billed as the company's "fastest" and "most thrilling" model to date, the E10 R follows has a familiar design but it features a mid-mounted 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that produces 350 bhp (261 kW) and 350 lb-ft (475 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed manual transmission that enables the model to rocket from 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds before hitting a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

The car's aluminum and carbon composite structure carries over but the E10 R has been equipped with new Bilstein adjustable dampers and a beefier braking system with new front discs and calipers. The model also has new 16- and 17-inch wheels which help to reduce unsprung mass by almost 22 lbs (10 kg). This enables the car to weigh 1543 lbs (700 kg) which is 55 lbs (25 kg) less than the E10 S.

If the standard model isn't sporty enough, customers can order carbon fiber seats, six-point racing harnesses, and a quick release steering wheel.

Despite offering impressive levels of performance, the E10 R is surprisingly affordable as pricing starts at £39,995. That's just £10,000 more than the Ford Focus RS which has the same 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine.
