Hello, I've reached level 23, I've 4.5 in the bank, and I'm planning to blow it on something fast.

I would appreciate your thoughts on the three cars I am considering, and welcome any other suggestions you might have!

I'm planning to use my new race car to complete the 'All stars' and 'Like the wind' races.

Thanks, Nath

You win the Zonda for the B-Spec GT World Championship and you win the Audi R10 for the Nurburgring 24 hours (if you can be bothered doing it). The Oreca Peugeot is a beast!

The 908 is the one to get of those 3 for sure. Both the others are prize cars and the 908 will smash the R10

Audi R10 is slow compared to the other 2. The Zonda-R is a handfull if you aren't the best racer out there. I'd suggest the 908 as it has good speed and handling and looks amazing in both colour schemes!

:) you mean i may have tammed a beast unknowingly,

I made the choice between the 908 and A10, i opted for the Team Peugeot 908. Two nights ago i went on line and found a room at LeMans and ended up spending the whole night there absolutely wired and on the edge with this car. Its a beast and racing against other LMS cars was a big thrill. I won the Zonda and tried it a few times but the 908 gives me more of a buzz and i love the roar it makes.

It's not as bad if you do not add the extra turbo. Also even with the turbo it is fine if you short shift the first 3 gears.

ah, thats where i may have made it angry lol
i'm using the gtdf, i'm not sure how much more difficult it is with the pad?
besides, i've 'retired' the zonda r for now

Choose 908 HDi, is faster than R10 is more handling(lose less traction in my opinion). I was 4 seconds faster with 908 around TGTT

I'm very glad I asked, and grateful for all your advise!

I was hoping the general consensus would be the 908, it's worth the extra 1.4 over the 'R'

I think the R is a beauty and cheaper in comparison but if I can eventually win it when I do decide to tackle the B-Spec then the 908 it is. The R10 wasn't really in the running, especially not for an additional premium over the 908.

BUT, are there no other choices I should consider over the 908?

Have you got the FGT?

Other than that, then the 908 and the 787B are the fastest Premium cars.

Other race cars like 787B or maybe Citroen GT Race Car, Minolta (You win in like the wind)is the beast too

You could consider the 787B, it is probably faster than the 908, but both are completely fantastic cars. Avoid the R10 in my opinion, and the Zonda R, while completely amazing, is much slower than either, and can be won in B-Spec mode.

As for other very fast premium cars, the citroen GT race car is also awesome, but is also won in b-spec, and also isn't as fast as the LMP's.

Do you get the Audi R10 for completing A-Spec 4 Hour Nurburgring Endurance?

I'd go for the 908 just because you can win the other two, although I think the most fun of the three is the Zonda R. I wouldn't buy the R10 though ... I've never heard anyone recommend it, before you buy the 908 though check the UCD and make sure you're not missing out on the Toyota GT-One, that is practically the 908 except it is better in my opinion.

I have the 908, 787b, Audi R10 and the Zonda R and without question the Peugeot 908 is the car to get, it will beat all of em and in my opinion looks the best.

The GT Citroen Race Car and the Mazda 787B are also tale happy though. Plus the Mazda is very dull to drive and it makes such a terrible noise. The GT Race Car is alright, can be fun to drive at times, but I'd never spend 5million+ on it. Neither will be as quick as the 908 though.

R10 doesn't have good enough acceleration, I have the Stealth Model and my B-Spec Bobs can get no traction off the line with them.

Zonda R is certainly fast but it can't compete with any of the LMP's.

908 I haven't tested but it is apparently a great all-rounder.

No seriously I don't like the 787B at all, I've taken it around Indy quite a few times and the noise it makes it just drones at you, don't like that at all.

It isn't fantastic to drive either, don't like the handling at all ... And I have driven it standard and with a few of my own set ups and its just no fun.

I'm not a fan of concept cars, the majority are conceptual for a reason. They're always a bit too 'try hard' and in honesty probably just that bit too adventurous for me! haha

The 787 is more expensive than the 908 and the consensus seems to think it's not worth the extra. I'm also looking for that additional edge that I'm likely to get in a more modern racer over something 10+ years older.

Sooo, the 908 it is... Thanks for everyones help!

You're by yourself on that one.
