Theres this new LAN gaming place opening up and the problem it has is it doesn't have the zoning permit to open a arcade-type store in that shopping center, it's in the process of getting one, so my question is, how long do getting zoning permits usually take?

Try calling the township in question. How the hell would anyone here know?

I have records of Richardson, Texas on my computer updated daily. I can tell you that by judging by similar zoning permit requests in that area, it may take up to 6 weeks.

It will probably take at least a month; maybe two. Usually you have to get the Special Exception request on the agenda for the next meeting of the Board of Adjustments (which usually meets once a month), then they will hear the case and look at your information. They will make a decision and send a letter stating whether it's allowed or not. But one thing to remember, it's a governmetn function, it ain't gonna happen overnight.

And if they don't like the proposed use, it ain't gonna happen at all.

You seriously have the records?

He's never sarcastic. I have them too.

You should watch out about being seen at a LAN party, people at my school get beat up for that sort of thing.
