Logitech G923 vs. RS50 System
The RS50 System is where Logitech moves to direct drive. At 8 Nm it is several times stronger than the G923, and with no gears in the way it feels smoother and quieter, with TRUEFORCE still on board. It adds a quick release, so the wheel can be swapped later. Pedals are not included, but the G923's pedals connect to it through the Racing Adapter, which makes the RS50 a natural next step for a G923 owner.
The G923 is the all-in-one gear-driven alternative, with wheel, three pedals, and clamps in the box and TRUEFORCE included. It is much weaker at 2.3 Nm, and its gears feel notchier, but nothing else is needed. The RS50 System is the next step up for a G923 owner, since the G923's pedals carry over.
