Fanatec Podium Pedals Formula vs. Podium Pedals Sport
The Fanatec Podium Pedals Formula is the same Podium two-pedal design as the Podium Pedals Sport, with the same forged aluminum brake, Compression Control System, Hall-sensor throttle, and 200+ kg load cell calibrated for 150 kg at the pedal plate. The difference is the footwear: the Formula has carbon fiber pedal plates and heel cups with height-adjustable plates, heel cup distance adjustment, and grip tape, while the Podium Pedals Sport has GT-style aluminum plates that suit left-foot or right-foot braking.
Both need a rig or the separate Podium Pedals Mounting Plate, since neither includes a baseplate, and both take the optional clutch module. The Formula's carbon heel cups cannot be used with the heel rest from the mounting plate, so you pick one or the other. The Podium Pedals Sport has no heel cups, so that choice does not arise. Connections, platforms, and compatible Fanatec bases are the same on both.
