The coupling that holds the steering wheel onto the base and lets you swap wheels without tools. Each manufacturer has its own, and they do not interchange: a Fanatec wheel does not fit a Moza base because the couplings are different shapes.

The PRO DD11 is the 11 Nm base from Logitech's PRO Racing Wheel, sold on its own for drivers who already own a Logitech wheel or want to pick one. Its direct drive motor gives strong, clean forces with plenty of headroom, so heavy cornering and big impacts keep their shape without the strongest forces getting cut off. TRUEFORCE adds engine and road detail in supported games, contactless sensing measures the wheel angle, and five onboard profiles store wheel settings for different games and cars. A redesigned table clamp is included, and standard bolt holes take it to a rig. It works with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Pair it with any RS or PRO wheel and pedals, such as the PRO Racing Pedals.

PRO DD11 vs. RS50 Base

The RS50 Base is the step down, at 8 Nm with the same quick release, the same TRUEFORCE, and the same wheels and pedals. Its table clamp is sold separately. For most desk setups 8 Nm is plenty, and the PRO DD11's extra strength matters most when it is bolted to a rig and driven hard.

PRO DD11 vs. Fanatec ClubSport DD+

Fanatec's ClubSport DD+ is the step up for PlayStation, with 18 Nm and FullForce, and a much wider choice of wheels and pedals on the QR2 quick release. It has no table clamp in the box and suits a cockpit best, and Logitech wheels and pedals do not carry over.
