Moza R25 Ultra True Torque Direct Drive Wheel Base

Moza Racing · Wheel Base

25 Nm: what this means

Peak torque

The hardest the wheel base can push back, measured in newton-meters. It is a ceiling rather than a setting: most people run well below the maximum, and the number matters less than how cleanly the base delivers what it does produce.

Direct drive: what this means

Direct drive

The steering wheel bolts straight onto the motor's shaft, with no belts or gears in between. Nothing sits between you and the forces the game is sending, so curbs, grip loss, and the front tires loading up arrive sharply and in the right order.

Moza QR: what this means

Quick release

The coupling that holds the steering wheel onto the base and lets you swap wheels without tools. Each manufacturer has its own, and they do not interchange: a Fanatec wheel does not fit a Moza base because the couplings are different shapes.

The R25 Ultra is Moza's flagship, a 25 Nm direct drive base for PC with a built-in true torque sensor. The sensor measures the actual force at the shaft, which Moza uses to keep the output true to what the game asks for, on top of a zero-cogging flat-wire motor and a 21-bit magnetic encoder. It mounts from the front, side, or bottom, so it belongs in a stiff cockpit, and it takes Moza wheels and the rest of Moza's range.

R25 Ultra vs. R21 Ultra

The R21 Ultra is the step down, at 21 Nm without the torque sensor, and still far stronger than most drivers need.

R25 Ultra vs. Fanatec Podium DD

Fanatec's Podium DD is the main rival, with 25 Nm holding and 33 Nm peak, FullForce, and Xbox support with an Xbox-licensed Fanatec wheel.
