Sports Cars Report: 24h Nuerburgring, with Kaz 26 June 2011

This weekend there is the 24h of the Nurburgring.

I'm going on Sunday, anybody else that will be there?

So I did go:

It was difficult to follow the race and after a few hours I got tired and I was not even racing!

Gran Turismo/Playstation was everywhere, I have been looking for F*** but nothing there, proof that the multiple Gran Turismo references on races in GT5 are realistic:

Ferrari 4/5

Ohhhhh, did the Ferrari P4/5 really race there? Must've been spectacular.

Where were we, oh yes, before I put the pictures in the wrong folder on the USB and then lost the USB I was in:

I knew the P 4/5 would be there and the first thing I saw in the paddocks was this:

there was really a lot of action, enjoy:

Most impressive cars: Porsche (probably those that ended in the top of ranking), SLS AMG GT3 (drives like the AMG Academy one it seems), Audi R8 LMS and TTRS, BMW Z4 GT3

Do you accidentally have a photo of the Manta too??

I was there only on Saturday, so had to watch the finish via the live stream... The P4/5 was spectacular. I'd expected it to be faster, but it made up for it with it's sound. Not exactly beautiful, but it was LOUD. An older guy in front of me put his fingers in his ears each time the P4/5 passed by!
