1) Well whats the regular season schedule? The front page is so over blown, i cant tell what is what.

2) Yes this Friday is the last pre-season race, once you make your car selection after this Friday it becomes FINAL. So get a good idea of what you want. I guess everyone is in agreement with this? As for where we're racing, i dont care where just as long as its not a track thats coming early in the season.

1) We're simple people here. Fancy OPs don't do us no good.

2) This.

I dunno how much simpler I can make the OP into. While the series itself is pretty loose, I find it pretty decent enough to run in that format. But I guess I could modify some things to make the series sound a bit more like it should.

I might go with the Ferrari or the Evora. Not sure about the Evora though, since that car is mostly experimental..

What did we figure out about the aston martins specs

I was just kidding. :dopey:

That it isn't going to be used and you should try LMP instead. ;)

Ok maybe how many people do we have

@Cowboys: I don't feel so bad then, having spent little more than 20-30 laps in this car ever with no tuning.

I think I can reach pace this season I just need to spend a little more track time this time around..

I did 2 hours of tuning in the C60, to learn the R8s easily got 2-3 seconds faster.

I guess its pointless to go back and nit pick the home page, and im not trying to bash your work. I can tell you worked on it a lot, i guess i just liked the simple one we had last season. No biggie

You guys wanna do Fuji, its not until late in the season?

Ok so when is the season starting

So the 20th of April

My internet remains inept. However, in practice with the settings similar to online I got a 1:53 at GP/F with the Matmut 908. Not sure how good that is, but I can feel room for improvement. Just need a little bit more stable tune, but it already feels really close without any tuning at all (just extra downforce).

Sucks that the tires disappear so fast on LMPs, though.

Pace was 1:50.

I got 1:48's pretty easily with the 908. With just a basic setup. Try forward brake bias and negative toe up front. LSD settings of mine are 5/10/11. It could get better I'm sure. I was able to do low 47's with the R8 05' and Bentley. That wasn't really pushing for super fast laps though. I got a setup that makes the tires go for about 7-8 laps. Nurb is a tire eating track so you may get more laps on shorter tracks.

I can understand about Grand Valley from you, but Fuji is a pretty good track. It is actually very tough to perfect despite its layout being so simple.

I meant having it next.

Poll? To remove GVS.

Grand Valley sucks. 👎 remove it!

I think all the people currently in LMP need to stay, and a few more need to cross over. We should regulate half/half grid so that it's actually multi-class, because I won't race a GT only grid. I can just simply go full time rfactor.

I think gatrs should go LMP and a few others to make the class interesting.

Right now, there's a 6:9 ratio of LMP-GT drivers. I think some recent changes haven't been ruled in as of yet, so that ratio isn't official.

...

Fine, I'll remove it. But expect another track to replace it.

Nobody's joining LMP because the cars are so uneven, and there's nothing being done.

how many cars do you test to say that?

Nobody's joining LMP because the cars are so uneven, and gta's refusing to do anything!

If you guys want to improve the LMP class in some fashion, I guess we need a bit more time to make the class more even. I just adopted BermudaKid's system immediately since some of you guys really want to race.

So 2 people dont like Grand Valley and its gone? Majority rules i suppose. To be honest im not crazy about it myself, but of the "original" tracks its probably the best one to run if we're going to use one of them.

Im gonna buy an LMP and find out what all the fuss is about. Someone mentioned the Audi R10 being a bad lmp? Ill try it out tonight after ive earned enough money. If the cars have been balanced by a driver who has done extensive research on them, then im more apt to believe that than someone who has only driven them part time. I dont hear Pipi or Seth complaining about balance.

I meant the R8 vs. say the Pescarolo or R10.

I may add it as an "Optional Inclusion".

How about this idea: I could throw in La Sarthe '05 W/ Chicanes, and have a 2 round battle, each being 5-10 laps long. Both rounds will be ran in Classic Le Mans vehicles. The difference in each round is the grid: Based on Qualifying results, the 1st round will be taken by fastest-slowest. The 2nd round will be taken by slowest-fastest. Each round is 25% of the points, totaling half of the normal points (being because it is not 'realistic' in ALMS). I know, it's a bit terrible, but I guess it's only an idea..

Alright ill try it again. Track for Friday's final preseason race will be at _______ ?

I vote Fuji or Monza

I like the sound of both those tracks.
However, I won't be here Friday.
So it's up to you guys.
Daytona will be next week. That will be the first official race of the season.

Did you ever buy that LMP?
