What car you like to see on cover of gran turismo 6 game?

Interesting you would suggest the F40 given that your username is f40 and your avatar :lol: I think they will use one of the following 3 on the final cover in order of likeliness:

  1. 2013 Dodge Viper
  2. 2013 Acura NSX
  3. Ferrari 458

That makes no sense. There have been 10 - 20 guesses at the car under the tarp and nobody has been "hated on". Just tell us your thoughts.
 
Seems people aren't using logic. It wont be american, shapes just to symmetrical. But i have gone through most cars mentioned and its easy, c7 has wrong rear line and front too low, viper to long at front, 458 has the cockpit more central (as are most supercars.
Its not a car you want rather than a car which is new, popular and for everyone and anyone.

Yeah, and the front doesn't even come close. Seems as if people aren't using eyes.
 
My guess is that it will be one of the really popular cars of 2013, as the SLS was a really popular and new model back in 2010.

Without knowing exactly what cars are in the game its hard to guess what the cover car might be.

It is virtually universally accepted to be the 2014 Nissan Z - The 370Z successor.

Jonjwlee posted the image below here which appears to have solved the mystery. Great find by him.

Since this is the 15th anniversary of Gran-Turismo, The car needs to be tied back in someway to the original game,
some make/model of car is still relevant now.

This man is on to something. Unless the car PD use is different than the one that tarp is based from, it will most likely be this.

There's one other potential car that may work, but I doubt it.

Sorry, but it isn't the Z concept. I know it would make more sense, but it just isn't going to be that.

That just a shadow image, no prototype or concept has been released. Still look like the the 350/70z chassic on the poster but it wont be.

All I did was erase the area directly around the car (in a very crappy way, I might add) and lower the opacity of the layer.

Either way I'd rather not waste my time on the Corvette, it just doesnt seem like it imo. Sorry friend :(. I tried those two because the body's seemed to fit pretty well.
 
Pretty sure it will be the alfa romeo showed in the trailer. The focus in the video is mostly on that car.

I'm positive it's this car. Only they've slightly edited the front of the car to make the shape look more aggressive for the front cover.
 
It's clearly some variation of the GT86 even Stevie Wonder could spot that, Notice the shape of the Rear arches, Roof line, Spoiler the whole silhouette basically.
 
I guess it's going to be Alfa Romeo TZ3.
 
It seems that most of the people posting are assuming that the car on the cover of GT6 is absolutely going to be the "mystery car under the tarp". Why is everyone assuming that this is a teaser for the cover art and not just something that was used for the 15th anniversary event? It is obvious that the car under is either the BRZ, FT-86 or FRS (we've pretty much come to that conclusion.)

But I don't think that will be the cover car.
