Famine No offence, Jon...
To prevent the forum being stuffed to the brim with savegame requests, here's a single, amalgamated collection of links either directly to files or to posts containing the files.

READ THIS FIRST

SOME OF THESE FILES WILL NOT WORK ON NON-UPDATED VERSIONS OF THE GAME. Ensure you have the correct GT5: Prologue (Spec I = Original release; Spec II = Updated in July 2008; Spec III = Updated in October 2008) before you attempt to use any of these saves. Ensure you have backed up your own gamesave before you attempt to use any of these saves.
You have been warned.

In order to use the files you need to click on the link for your particular type of file (JPN = Japan, USA = North America, PAL = Everywhere else, with a few exceptions; BD = BluRay Disc, DL = Download) and extract the files to a removable storage device readable by the PS3 (USB pen drive, SD card). The files need to be extracted to look like this:

And then copied into the a /PS3/SAVEDATA folder in the device's root directory (the first window when you double-click on the device). Transfer the device to the PS3, turn it on, go to the device folder and triangle to copy the gamesave to the PS3.

If you do not know what you are doing, do not attempt any of this without first having backed up your own gamesave in the same (but reverse) manner.

Given how stickies are usually treated, I'd imagine that'd make it invisible

But done, nonetheless.

You see the text that says READ THIS FIRST and the link right underneath it that says "Using downloaded gamesaves"?

There's something of a clue right there.

If I recall correctly, there's something odd about JASE's gamesave that requires it to be renamed. I'll get back to you.

Edit: Yes, because the archive is called "PS3.rar", when you extract it, it becomes PS3/PS3.xxx (I don't recall the file format). The data on your memory stick needs to be drive:/PS3/SAVEDATA/gamesavefile.xxx. So create the PS3 folder on your memory stick/card, create a SAVEDATA folder inside that and transfer JUST the Gamesave file into that folder. It should all work then.

Well it works and I actually transfer everything that is included into the ps3 (via flash drive)
but once I do start GT5: P it has the disclaimer page up, it's in Japanese but I know it's a requirement to pick the option on the right side in order to advance...

I wish! It's the 30th of March here and GT5:P doesn't come out till the 15th of April! Over two weeks of hell...

*sigh*
Still hasn't worked I've tried:
Changed the game file to actually calling it "GAME" instead of "GAME_P2"
Tried putting just both of those alone in the savedata folder = corrupt file
Even tried a save from gamefaqs (which is a EU version and updated GT5P)

Going to try to download the update, I'll see how far it goes before I start over.

The update is absolutely, 100% your issue.

The gamesaves are all for the latest, SpecII version. The one that actually has the F2007 in it.
