I'm very grateful for patch 1.10 PD, but there still are some obvious things we're missing. Here's my personal list of changes that I see as relatively easy fixes, and that should have a high priority:

Replay controls
Endurance saves*
Garage icon in practice mode
After seasonals, don't return to homescreen
Paint preview**
Practice mode: choose time of day, weather, opponents***
Draft level parameter online (I've read that this has been toned down, can someone confirm?)
Get rid of favorites system (whole garage selectable) for arcade, like we have in online now
Make visual damage appear much faster
Make navigating to shopping cart icon in settings a bit more intuitive

* Think about it this way: If you can pause, you should also be able to save! It doesn't make a difference in challenge or gameplay, but it will save some electricity and give the PS3 a longer life.

** PD might have the philosophy that in real life you can't see what the paint looks like on your car beforehand, well you can nowadays with the help of computers!

*** I know this is possible, people found a secret mode that does this in GT5 prologue. PD might as well remove the seperation of tracks with different weather, choose a track and after that choose how you want to race on that track..

Feel free to add your own things, but the idea is to keep your wishes realistic. Save huge things like new tracks/ premiums for a Spec II wishlist, not for 1.11

Do we really need these threads after every update? We get what we get, I doubt we're influencing PD's decisions.

Well, I'm grateful for all patches we get, but we have to show PD what we, the GT fans would like to see in GT5. Yes, I actually think they read the forums sometimes, I even think the guys from Turn 10 are reading it.

Already had that one about the arcade mode, but made it a bit more obvious in my post :).

About the last suggestion, isn't that like practice mode with selectable opponents? I agree that creating entire championships might be more suitable for something like spec II.
 
Same as before. Endurance Race Saves.

PD, please note, Endurance Race Saves are not the same thing as adding stupid outfits and helmets.

I think those helmets/ outfits are pretty awesome and please keep in mind that the guy who makes those, is not the guy who should have made the endurance saves.. But I understand where you're coming from :p.

We need to save our console health, and our time if we want.

-Oh, this mode is for hardcore gamers and must be played without pause.

Ok, if you do this, a prize. If you do saves, less money, less prize.

Deal?

There is a lot of people not doing endurance races for this simple reason...
And it would be a second life for the title.

As feedback maybe but its PD's baby we shouldnt try to force them to shift in our direction, its their creation not some crowd source endeavour

I do agree with your points, it just dont agree that people should feel PD should do these things just because we (or some of us) want them

I respect PD's style, but I don't think these suggestions are in contrast with their design philosophy. This is just polishing, which is what PD used to do with previous games too. It's not like I'm suggesting gameplay changes or anything like that :).

I fully agree with you they get on your tits all the time.
 
PD:

PLease ADD unlimited FAVORITES on CARS, PICTURES, and VIDEOS. Also, the CAMERA angles ( window cam ) needs to change to a proper hood cam ( just a minor irritation that some cars u cannot see the hood at all when driving.

Great list. Other than the obvious need for additional track/car content I would add nothing other than an improved course generator.

What I like about the list is that its just some very simple programming changes which should have been there since day 1. No chance PD will see sense through...
 
PD, please, Please for the love of all that is holy, ADD THE F'N GARAGE START SCREEN TO PHOTOMODE. That's all i want with the other locked locations.
They have to see what we do with the Photomode, why not give us some love, And Fix the Exposure that they screwed up in 1.10 too.

It's evident Gran Turismo 5 didn't, can't and will not hold it's weight but what a joke.

As mentioned, the game needs American developers. The Japanese are good at exacting, but when it comes to execution it's just a total mess. Bring some different culture into the creation of the next game. You can easily tell it was designed almost strictly by the Japanese just based on the lack of freedom and functions American developers usually give.
 
Could there just be one "official" wishlist thread? Far too many of these get made.

I noticed at Sarthe in the rain, you couldn't adjust the exposure up any just about, while when I did my Super GT Set at it in the Rain, I could adjust it higher. But then again, I think last night it was set later at night, while the Super GT was more during the day. (Rained, then the sun came out and set, where at the GT40 it just rained and got dark)

Option to have forced stock car parts in online.

And option to have forced one particular car + stock parts in online.

I am literally sick of PP, different cars, limiters, finding a way to trick with settings/tuning/installing into win and such crap.
 
Garage icon in change oil screen - abillity to faster change oil on multiple cars, not to go out in gt life, then pick a car, then GTlife then GT maintenance, then change oil .etc

Disagree entirely. They should listen to their customers IMO, not ignore them.

Endurance Race saves was the most asked for change. They even said it was being worked on back in March.

I don't think it's unreasonable for customers to say what improvements are most important to them, and I do think PD should listen.
