Alert to the wrong recipient

I've never seen this happen before. p78 quoted McLaren's post, yet I got notified.

Technically, he did actually quote one of your posts, you just can’t see it.

For whatever reason, he removed the text inside of the quote tag. This means the quote box itself is not displayed in the public version of the post, but the empty quote tag is enough to trigger the alert for you.

Yeah, I suspected he quoted me by mistake. But even then, I haven't posted in the thread in question, so I'm not sure how that came to be

Yeah, I checked the quote tags and it was actually a quote of this post of yours. He was probably using multi-quote and forgot he added that post of yours from the other thread, which is why he removed it (just not completely).
