Right, I just want to point out something about the damage thing, and manafactures not wanting their cars smashed up on a game. They dont seem to mind about their cars being smashed up on the Forza Motorsport games, so why the hell is it different with Gran Turismo!

If you actually go back and read the contents of this thread (and numerous others) you will find full answers to that question.

However to help out, firstly we are more than aware that manufacturers allow damage to be shown in games, that's not the issue. The issue is how they allow damage to be shown, to what degree and how realistic it is.

Which leads to the second point, simply put damage in Forza (the first or second) is not that realistic, certainly not in comparison to that shown in Richard Burns Rally, TRD3 or F1:CE. Forza's damage system will effect the car up to a point, but not beyond it; for example ram a wall head on at 100mph and the car will still drive away, in reality it would be an instant DNF.

Have a full read of this thread and the others in this sub-forum and you will see this has been discussed many times in great detail, in particular this one....

...that looks at Gt and Forza and discusses damage in quite a lot of detail.
