Don't Believe Those Forza Horizon 4 Japan Rumors Quite Yet

Although I want Japan for the JDM hidden gems we could get I would not be dissapointed with UK, Sweden, or Detroit for some hidden gems from those areas.

Being based in the UK would be no barrier for PG adding JDM metal anyway. Whilst not as big as it once was, there's still a healthy import scene here.

If indeed it does end up being Japan, I hope we get a good J-Rock Radio station ;D

I just hope the map is a lot more interesting this time, I honestly got bored of Horizon 3 really quickly, It just seemed to be lacking compared to 2.. Maybe it's just me.

None the less, I would also love a future Horizon Game to be in the uk.

Even if it only takes 10 minutes to drive from London to Glasgow, Or Portsmouth to Newcastle or Dover to Cardiff....

It would be pretty damn awesome.

Well how about Singapore then? Or Bali island? Might be an interesting choice if they wanted a location based off the Asian continent

According to this french gaming website, Forza Horizon 4 was registered at Brazil's Ministery of Justice in the video games classification list. If it's no fake, this means we are veeeeeeeery likely getting a FH4 in Brazil. Which i'm not fond of. Because FH3 already had the beaches, the rainforest, and the city... what else could Brazil bring? Also, not even mentioning the cheap knockoffs that are Fiat Palio, Volkswagen Gol and such that are everywhere in southern america...
I'm not very hyped right now.

Not really. I think that that's just for it to be rated so they can sell it in Brazil. FH4 could be anywhere.

What about New Zealand? Lots of japanese cars, varied landscapes, with mountains, plains, snow, tropics, cities... Could be a fun place.

It'd be a great setting, but I think it's a bit geographically close to Australia to want to do straight afterwards.

Perhaps one of the Scandiwegian countries? They're quite similar. Or even some parts of South America.

Japanese barn finds would give me wood for months.

All Countrys together would be great. Like in TDU2 where u was enable to fly to tdu1 region :) And plastic surgery + online casino LOL :)

I like this idea, especially if you could make maps both backward and forward compatible. Just add them as expansions. Then I could drive a VW Beetle in Australia. Or take a Citroën to France.

^^ you got a point. Australia, blizzard mountain and hot wheels land. Separated by load screens

Japan, Europe and the us; separated by load screens.

What ever the case, given the success of 3, we can expect something special for 4

I had a similar thought a while back about 3 maps, specifically so you could a good and realistic variation of landscapes. I’d have Japan for a good urban city landscape, plus proper mountain roads, California (due to the same rumour that Australia came from) for the Redwoods forest and beach landscapes. The third would be a European alpine country for the snow landscape, which was implemented brilliantly in Blizzard Mountain. I’d have each map be about 2/3 the size of FH3s Australia.
