drag tune for mercedes slr

I tuned the mercedes a little and i got 9.479 in 1/4.but i was wondering if anyone could help me make it faster .

Put front camber at three front toe at negative one rear toe positive one. And this should help you get a better launch thus resulting in a better time

Use the tranny steps on the tune I gave you on that other car, don't use the same numbers cause they won't match just use the same steps. Instead of 6 gears it only has 5. The first step is the one that will make or break the tune cause that step gets you the right top speed. The top speed is going to range from 150 to 170, some where in there. The suspension is different though, maybe someone else will help you with that.

How about doing some trial and error. See what works. The SLR isn't exactly a hard car to tune. Spend more than 20 minutes on it before you give up and ask for help.

Don't know which SLR you are tuning, but I chose the slower of the 2. Reset my trans to default, shifted at redline (which isn't the shift point), and did a black screen launch.



Obviously you didn't put too much time into it.

You need to look at it from our perspective. People come on here all the time asking for tunes. They get advice, and then still ask for a tune. The Tuning Bible has a ton of good information in it, make sure you read it if you haven't already.

Then you spent about 4 hours on this car, and mine was faster with a default transmission and my suspension tune. So you're either not even close to the 944 max hp, or not using racing soft tires.

Again, this car isn't hard to tune. Post yours up when you get the chance, and I'll be more than happy to tell you what you've done wrong.

That's a further 11 and what makes it worse, is that in most of them, you are asking to be given them, without offering anything in return. The other 3 threads you have created also served no purpose.

Each of these groups of threads could have been reduced to a thread each, asking for each of the things you wanted. Still this doesn't gain any respect from me.
