My throttle pedal is sticking again, I hope I can fix it just by cleaning it like the last time.:nervous: If I can I should be able to knock a bit off my time.:)
 
Mine is sticking too.

Trying to do the 1st sector and I am just understeering in turn one, and hitting the wall.

Really getting frustrated right now.

I actually managed to get round the first sector a few times yesterday but in the corners that follow it caused me to lose far too much time because of the understeer.:ouch:
 
I give up, just broke my computer desk as I slammed my fist down in anger and a bit has snapped off...

Time Trials don't suit me, and I've just looked back at my replay to find that in my fastest lap my tyre was on the edge of the curb but some of the wall itself was over, so it might be dirty.

Brilliant.

I think its safe to say most of us have been there at least once, although in my case my desk is a good old fashioned solid wood structure that can take a good pounding... :P Like with any challenge in life though, the calm, Zen-like approach is best policy. Don't think, feel (etc). :sly:

WRS TT's can be cathartic. They can also make you want to amputate your own head. 💡
 
Might try again later but I try not to get overly frustrated by these, especially at Cote d'Azur.
 
Final splits:-

Slightly slowers splits but nearly 0.15 quicker at the line. I probably should have been able to go .2 quicker but always messed up T3, oh well.:)
 
I had a moment like that the other day, although I've learned not to lash out at inanimate objects. Ran an amazing lap, went to the replay and *thud* coming out of Casino. Ran another lap which ended up being even better, went to the replay and tire over the chicane. Ran another lap, which was only slightly slower but was nowhere close to being dirty.

In fact, I'm not sure if I'll run any more laps in this combo. I'm satisfied with where I'm shown on the leaderboard right now.

This has certainly been one of those combo's, submitting now, I've given up on this one, Wall , Wall, Wall:ouch:
 
Nice combo this one, but really tough. Struggled really hard to put a clean lap together. I don´t know how many times I messed up the 1st corner and the chicane :crazy:

I like this lap, but going to keep trying.

Tune is the same, except I changed the Brake Balance to 4/8. I found I was carrying a little too much into some of the slower speed corners, and this helps rotate the car some. But you have to be delicate.
 
T1: 27.104
T2: 44.983
Previous splits were also dirty, so I had to give it another go. Was a bit more careful at the chicane now, and the T2 just wasn't great but I'm very happy with my T1 and the lap is 0.012 faster than my previous lap.

Also, don't forget the qualifying deadline for World Tour Stop 1 is this Friday. 👍

PS> Any of you who aren't taking part in the world tour can still see how your lap time would stack up using the World Tour Practice Leaderboard (online times only w/tuning prohibited). Feel free to submit times even if you aren't going to make the race. In particular, the Audi R8 @ Nurb GP/D combo is amazingly fun. If that car was in Arcade Mode and we could run without tuning offline no doubt we'd run it for a time trial.

Nevermind, but the 2 R8's shouldn't differ much in handling.

I registered for the Wednesday race, and it's a good thing, as I'm the only one in the NA race in a pink car. :sly:

Qualifying - Thanks for the heads up. I will go have a look at the combo today and will try to get some practice in. Hopefully I can qualify on Wed or Thu night. Running some of the latest rounds of GT Academy at the moment.

I never got the feel of the second and third sectors this week - never improved on the splits currently on the board so I'm not going to submit this week - looking forward to seeing some replays to figure out exactly where I was going wrong. :(

Submitting with splits on the board after trying next weeks combo I just couldnt make myself do this one anymore. haha

Good luck everyone Im pretty sure I wont podium but you never know.

Sorry guys, I didn't get round to submitting. I had my real life driving test yesterday - and passed! :)
But I completely forgot to submit - spent the day looking for second hand cars lol.
I was quite pleased with my lap but I always submit just before the deadline and planned to have a final run that evening, sorry.
