Stewards Comments:
Congratulations to GTP_D.Holland, GTP_Manuelos, GTP_RussRobit, GTP_SundayDriver, & GTP_Z28 for winning their respective divisions. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ . The Gold, Silver and Bronze are the colours of the driver's division colours.
Thank you all for a great turnout for WRS Week 03, 39 drivers in total. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

We are now getting close to having enough data to determine promotions. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Important notice:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all required replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Unofficial" and will become "Official" once all posted replays have been verified. After 7 days, all drivers who fail to provide a requested replay will have their lap disqualified. (Beware, disqualification isn't taken lightly within the WRS)

Replay Verification Requests:
This week we would like to see all podium replays for verification. All replays are to be posted here.

Instructions on how to upload your replay can be found here - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3180607&postcount=2

Replay Checking:
  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Congratulations to all that participated. Also good luck for week 04. ๐Ÿ‘

Wait- Dan won? I demand a recount :P Great runs everyone and congrats to the podium'ers.

Jerome

Well done to GTP_D.Holland, GTP_Manuelos, GTP_RussRobit, GTP_SundayDriver and GTP_Z28. ๐Ÿ‘ And an extra little well done to GTP_Samantha for getting a podium for her division. ๐Ÿ‘

My replay.

A general observation looking at those times, do we need Div 4&5 because the times are practically identical. Doesn't look like D5 is a step below D4.

There is one person that really deserves a big congratulation and that is of course GTP_D.Holland (holl01) with a lap that obliterated the rest of us. ๐Ÿ‘

I can't wait to have a look at that replay. :scared:

Here's mine:

I verified GTP_SundayDriver's (Live The Dream) lap and it is nice and clean, with the correct specs. It looks so nice and smooth that it seems weird that your time wasn't faster. ๐Ÿ‘

I was unable to unzip the replays from Sam and Hyperuk.

I was unable to unzip the replays from Sam and Hyperuk.

That's strange, I done no different when I Zipped the replays to what I done last time.

Edit,

I just unziped it no problems here.

I think the problem is totaly on my side. I cannot unzip Sureshots zip file either. :ill:

Congrats to all who participated, cool combo. ๐Ÿ‘

Other than a few laps very early in the week I only managed a quick 10 minute session right before the deadline hence my poor performance.

Hopefully I'll have more time this week?

Darren.

Yup, just shut down the PS3 for the night, will watch it tomorrow. ๐Ÿ‘

Congrats to all the division winners, GTP_RussRobit in particular - once again obliterating the rest of Division 3 and this time third overall! Great performance ๐Ÿ‘ I've got to watch GTP_D.Holland's replay to see how the heck they managed that time, truly awesome and a well deserved overall win. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

Congrats to all winners and podiums! Can't wait to see GTP_D.Holland's replay!!!

This car was great to drive! Wish I had been able to devote a little more time to it, though.

I just tried to watch your lap, no joy here, Im probably doing something wrong, I notice you reanamed the folder GTP_Denur, I tried renaming it to PS3, but still no luck, when I look on the USB when in the PS3, it shows no files. :dunce:

Weird, try to unzip the file to a PS3\SAVEDATA folder on your USB stick. Unzipped you should see the replay folder with name: BCES00104-RPLY2-B-BF204ABF015. I hope this works.

- Doubtful. I've watched it five times and I think there might be a slight wall touch at around 49s. It's visually very close and there is a drop in engine note and a change in speed with no lift or brakes. I'd like a second opinion on that, it might just be the fronts gripping, I'm just not sure.

Verified Fuzzy's lap and it's awsome to watch. ๐Ÿ‘
Nice and clean with the correct specs and posted lap time.

P.S. I still have problems unzipping, but with WINRar I get some nerdy options (View File) to be able to do it afterall.

Edit> Treed by Bob regarding Fuzzy. Thanx for verifying mine. :)

From what I remember of the lap is that it was close, as you say drop in engine note and a change in speed (presumably given the drop in engine note, didn't actually look at the speedo when I just watched it again). I seem to remember quickly countering the steering (which looks like that on the in-car camera, but then it would do that if I had touched the wall), it's a shame there isn't a slow-mo or a steering axis from what the controller is doing. It really isn't that clear either way from what I can gather. If in doubt it's out, isn't it?

If in doubt it's out, isn't it?

No, if in doubt, don't submit it.

When you submit, you are declaring your run clean. The verifier confirms that your run is indeed clean. They do not decided for you.

Well I wasn't in doubt at the time, as I didn't see it.

Edit: Or feel it during the run for that matter. I was quite often correcting oversteer out of that corner.
