My very latest purchase - the 430 Scuderia in a gorgeous blue hue

Gt5n_Scud2.jpg

these are outstanding!! such detail, it looks so real!! great work!

and I really love the cobra and mustang pics too. I started a Mustang and Shelby thread here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=190397 you should add these ones to it ...

The Cobra I won - love the moss green colour
Gt5n_Cobra1.jpg

...and I was astounded by the level of detail!

I've said it before (at least I think I have), and I'll say it again - I enjoy your willingness to tackle photographing some of the more 'ordinary' cars that others (including myself) won't take the time to shoot. Refreshing!

^^^^ this. AND, she adds fun and interesting commentary for the cars too. I love that.

Thank you all so much for the lovely comments - I am pleased that I can bring a little enjoyment to the more mundane cars in GT5, I have a little thing for collecting those more ordinary road cars :)

Another picture update coming soon - I have had to repair my wheel again with the old soldering iron, at least I can get back to some driving now :)

Yeah it's nice seeing standards for a change. I recently took out the Motorsport Elise and that was a pretty tough car to get a good angle on

I like the use of Standards, it's given me thoughts on pulling out my Standards as well. All they need is a little love.

As promised here is an update of my standard car testing...

Bosch... starting with the Toyota Celica
GT5h_ACelicaC1.jpg

Told you I have a thing for Celicas and Civics
GT5h_ACelicaC2.jpg

This model handled really nicely though
GT5h_ACelicaC3.jpg

Not a bad looking car either
GT5h_ACelicaC4.jpg

As opposed to the New Beetle RSi which handled badly and had the squarest looking polygon body I have seen so far in the standards
GT5h_ABeeRSI1.jpg

Probably because the real car is just all curves - it definitely needs more polygons
GT5h_ABeeRSI2.jpg

This Honda Integra looked and handled really sweetly
GT5h_AIntegra1.jpg

GT5h_AIntegra2.jpg

As did this S2000
GT5h_AYS20001.jpg

Though it was a little tail happy so I got some drifting practice in
GT5h_AYS20002.jpg

GT5h_AYS20003.jpg

This garish RM'd S2000 was firmly planted though
GT5h_ARMS20001.jpg

GT5h_ARMS20002.jpg

Surprisingly this Scooby Legacy had huge amounts of understeer
GT5h_AWLegacy1.jpg

GT5h_AWLegacy2.jpg

It really did not agree with me
GT5h_AWLegacy3.jpg

The Vauxhall Tigra had understeer and oversteer seemingly in equal measure
GT5h_ATigra1.jpg

It was quite a fun drive though
GT5h_ATigra2.jpg

GT5h_ATigra3.jpg

As was the Pug 205 Turbo
GT5h_AP205t1.jpg

GT5h_AP205t2.jpg

GT5h_AP205t3.jpg

This Nissan Calsonic race car was not much fun
GT5h_ANissCalsonic1.jpg

Perhaps I should have adjusted the ride height for the track - this car was so skittish on the bumps
GT5h_ANissCalsonic2.jpg

GT5h_ANissCalsonic3.jpg

The Touring Car Scooby was really solid for road holding
GT5h_AScoobTC1.jpg

Quite nippy too
GT5h_AScoobTC2.jpg

I got pretty much what I expected out of driving the Volvo Estate
GT5h_AVolvoEst1.jpg

GT5h_AVolvoEst2.jpg

Though I suspect the suspension could use a little firming up
GT5h_AVolvoEst3.jpg

Finally - this little Mitsubishi road rally car
GT5h_AMitRR1.jpg

It was absolutely outstanding to drive on a twisty track
GT5h_AMitRR2.jpg

I had so much fun in this on Eiger Nordwand I ended up making a session out of it
GT5h_AMitRR3.jpg

Lap after lap - endless fun
GT5h_AMitRR4.jpg

That's all for now - I thoroughly recommend taking that little Mitsubishi out for a run, bucket loads of fun indeed. Hope you like the latest selection of cars, eclectic as the mix may be :)

Thanks guys :)

@kdryan - Oh you should have read on... I hate them up to a point but found some real gems just by trying them out :)

Me being the next one sending my applauses for your takes.

Generally, the AWD´s suffer in most cases from understeer. The legacy is no exception in that. Besides, think it has rather been designed for shopping than taking it to track.

Didn´t see the Volvo being pictured here before. In the last shot you can even recognize the chassis winding while braking hard. Plenty of space, lack of rigidity.

Would be nice if there´s more to come even if it´s from just a girl´s garage ;)

That Celica looks Premium .Another Great Update and That Subishy at the end is added to my wishlist

I've been looking out for the Mitsubishi for a while becous it looks pretty good, now i know it handels really good also i can't wait to have a go in it. Same for the Subare Touring. The rest of the update is also 👍 again.

Volvo 240 GLT 👍

I really enjoyed going through your pics, especially since, to me at least, every post you make seems like a diary entry of another day on GT5

I like the use of standard cars, the Escudo ones look the best IMO. I'm now inspired to bring my Ram back to photo mode.

Just spectacular shots! Really very nice....Pump up the MkI GTI.....mine has 212hp and it's a hoot to drive!

You have a great eye for the shots.....really, really great! Thanks so much for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed the last set guys - in answer to "Why don't you use more premiums?" - well I do... but I am in the process of testing all the cars I own and, well, the majority so far are standard ones. Besides, I think the standard cars need a little love from time to time :D

Latest update - sorry it has been a while...

I don't know what possessed me to buy this 106 Rallye
GT5i_B106R1.jpg

No surprises with the handling - quite undynamic if there is such a word
GT5i_B106R2.jpg

As was the 206cc
GT5i_B206cc1.jpg

Uninspiring and quite a lot of body roll, as you would expect from a cc
GT5i_B206cc2.jpg

This was quite a nice drive
GT5i_BAdvan1.jpg

It's a shame that the lazy PD people forgot to reverse the "west" on this side - FAIL ;)
GT5i_BAdvan2.jpg

Made easy work of Laguna Seca though
GT5i_BAdvan3.jpg

This little Be-1 was awesome fun around Madrid
GT5i_BBe11.jpg

I would recommend taking this for a spin on the tighter city tracks
GT5i_BBe12.jpg

I have not much been a fan of Beamers - they just don't appeal to me
GT5i_BBMWM31.jpg

This M3 was a great drive though
GT5i_BBMWM32.jpg

I really enjoyed tearing it around Nordschielfe
GT5i_BBMWM33.jpg

Why on earth did I buy this brick?
GT5i_BBrick1.jpg

Oh yes - it handles just as it looks ;)
GT5i_BBrick2.jpg

I thought this Eclipse Spyder would be fun
GT5i_BEclipseSpid1.jpg

It wasn't though - far too much understeer
GT5i_BEclipseSpid2.jpg

I know what was fun though - this Lotus Esprit
GT5i_BEspritG1.jpg

I have always had a soft spot for the Esprit
GT5i_BEspritG2.jpg

This one did not disappoint - quite the playful little thing
GT5i_BEspritG3.jpg

In fact it was my most enjoyable drive around 'the ring' to date!
GT5i_BEspritG4.jpg

Damn good looking motor too :D
GT5i_BEspritG5.jpg

As was this Esprit
GT5i_BEspritO1.jpg

Good looking indeed
GT5i_BEspritO2.jpg

Not quite as nice to drive though - I suspect I may need to adjust the setup for it
GT5i_BEspritO3.jpg

GT5i_BEspritO4.jpg

Ah... the Lancer Rally Car
GT5i_BEvoRC1.jpg

Disappointing - in fact I don't think I have found a Lancer that I enjoy driving in GT5 yet
GT5i_BEvoRC2.jpg

I was quite excited by the prospect of driving this 1980s Mitsubishi Galant - having seen so many on the road during the day
GT5i_BGalant1.jpg

Epic understeer though - shame
GT5i_BGalant2.jpg

Even the Holden had less undesteer
GT5i_BHolden1.jpg

Though I still get the feeling it was really designed for straight roads
GT5i_BHolden2.jpg

This tuned Golf was amazing fun
GT5i_BHPA1.jpg

Broody looking too
GT5i_BHPA2.jpg

A little twitchy at the rear which required a bit of taming
GT5i_BHPA3.jpg

Talking of twitchy...
GT5i_BIntTour1.jpg

Oooops!
GT5i_BIntTour2.jpg

More Oooops!
GT5i_BIntTour3.jpg

I just had to buy the Jaguar in British Racing Green
GT5i_BJagG1.jpg

Handling was quite a test though
GT5i_BJagG2.jpg

Not my favourite drive by a long way
GT5i_BJagG3.jpg

The Ford Ka, while most certainly underpowered, was quite a fun drive
GT5i_BKa2.jpg

Though it had understeer and oversteer problems
GT5i_BKa1.jpg

I just wish that PD would have spent some time making the textures a higher resolution on the standard cars
GT5i_BLoctiteNSX1.jpg

I really quite liked the look of the Loctite NSX
GT5i_BLoctiteNSX2.jpg

The handling did not agree with my style of driving though
GT5i_BLoctiteNSX3.jpg

You have seen one Miata - you have seen them all
GT5i_BMiata1.jpg

I bought this one for the colour though - typical woman ;)
GT5i_BMiata2.jpg

The Nissan Micra - a bit of a woman's 'shopping' car if ever there was one
GT5i_BMicra1.jpg

It was another hidden gem - surprisingly nippy and excellent fun to drive
GT5i_BMicra2.jpg

Unlike this Mazda
GT5i_BOlMaz1.jpg

GT5i_BOlMaz2.jpg

GT5i_BOlMaz3.jpg

I am sure I had this car in GT4
GT5i_BOptionStream1.jpg

I don't remember it being such a handful though
GT5i_BOptionStream2.jpg

I was pleasantly surprised by the Pontiac GTO
GT5i_BPGTO1.jpg

I dropped in my 2nd fastest lap time on this circuit with it
GT5i_BPGTO2.jpg

I recommend getting the RX8 Concept
GT5i_BRx8Con1.jpg

Awesome fun to drive!
GT5i_BRx8Con2.jpg

Predictable oversteer and that sweet rotary engine hum
GT5i_BRx8Con3.jpg

I am starting to think I should avoid Scoobys though
GT5i_BSkooob1.jpg

Quite a handful
GT5i_BSkooob2.jpg

Nice looking though I must admit
GT5i_BSkooob3.jpg

GT5i_BSkooob4.jpg

This Spoon FIT was sweet - though I can't seem to stop calling it a 'Spoon Fed'
GT5i_BSpoonFit1.jpg

Nippy and firmly planted - we got on like a house on fire
GT5i_BSpoonFit2.jpg

I loved my wee test run in this Supra too
GT5i_BSupra1.jpg

GT5i_BSupra2.jpg

I thought I might enjoy a drive in the Vanquish - such child-bearing hips
GT5i_BVantage1.jpg

I soon discovered that it was a killer
GT5i_BVantage2.jpg

I probably won't drive it again unless I have a reason to visit hospital
GT5i_BVantage3.jpg

Finally - for this set at least
GT5i_BVWCoupe1.jpg

The gorgeous VW Karmann - exceptional fun
GT5i_BVWCoupe2.jpg

I hope you have enjoyed the update as much as I have enjoyed testing the cars. What with my Bobs being so active I have been on quite a spending spree and am running behind in my garage testing - one day I might actually set some time aside to finish the special events, license tests and a-spec mode ;)

All the pics look great, but as would say that I think that the B&W HPA R32, Panning shot of the Cosmo Sport and the last Pic of the Karmann Ghia look great.

Keep up taking the pictures. :)👍

If there is anyone who knows how to Enjoy this game it's You,I stop by here to get Inspiration and that Last set is full of it.Wow 👍
