Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with him on french Canadians kicking people. I don't go into xyz only rooms, but I've gone into rooms where they were all Canadian flags, all speaking french. I either get kicked when I join or kicked after I log a decent lap. The only people I've had trouble with are french Canadians and southerners. French Canadians just kick you. You'll hear them talk, giggle or laugh out load and then the server message inevitably appears. We don't have to talk...it is not about language compatibility. Indeed, they can do as they please, but that doesn't make it any less pigheaded or unbecoming. There is no denying that.
Southerns just fly off their handles. Most are nice I am sure, but a lot seem to have some hefty egos or they kick people when they're destroying. Can't win? KICK HIM! It's such a let down sometimes.
Never had a problem with any Europeans over nationality or race. No anti-america crap. Which is nice. Most can just come together and race.
IMO nationalism is much more prevelant than racism in gt6, being that we can't...see...each other... Making fun of accents and such. A couple months ago, someone jerk was making funny of duffyc's Irish accent. Can't remember where the guy thought he was from, but the guy was a moron. Told Duffy to fix his accent, that it didn't sound very Irish to him. He had a heavy Dominican or Puerto rican Spanish accent, living here in the States. I reminded him if this and that maybe he should "fix" his accent as well? Idk. People don't make sense online. This is why I don't use a Bluetooth headset anymore. Just a keyboard. I just ignore or mute now. I don't want to hear your nationalist or racist crap. The "he is cheating crap" is fine, because I take it as a compliment. Being american and having some good races doesn't help sometimes. Unless I'm playing with other Americans, I get kicked or they leave one by one.
The guys I race with regularly are all cool, except for one dink. And we are generally all from different countries/a really good mix. A few of us from the US and canada, a few from UK and Ireland, one or two south Americans, a couple Germans, and two or three australians.
Reverse racism is the only thing I see, in terms of racism. Pretty easy to figure out over voice if someone is white by their tone. It is like a free punch to them. You can't say anything back, you're white! It'll be racist!
