TH8RS and G25

[Shifter]

Hi, I bought a shifter TH8RS to go with my G25, installed the driver, but I am unable to use it in GT6 since being not present in the controller list I can't set it up. What do I have to do in order to see it in the controller menu?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news mate but i believe that combination will only work in PC sims. The TH8RS works on GT6 via the T500RS but I don't think it is recognised by the PS3 as a standalone device.

If i'm correct you can either give PC sims a go, return the shifter to where you got it or buy a T500RS. Hopefully someone can come in here and say that isn't the case.

I just posted this on your duplicate thread in the GT6/General Questions section:

On PS3/GT6 that will not work. PC yes.

Fanatec wheels can be used with TH8RS, G25/G27 shifters, DSD shifters, etc. on PS3/GT6...
....provided they use an adapter like the one's @mrbasher (FS1/SFA1/FL2) makes.

I know of no such adapter for G25/G27 wheels to enable use with other manufacturer's shifters on PS3 console for games such as GT6.
