This save editor is excellent. All I wanted was a faster vintage car to complete the International A - the Toyota 7 was my pick, that thing is a lunatic machine, so fun - so I simply adjusted the credits to $19,999,999 via my Windows 10 VM running in Parallels in my Mac mini (it's a very vanilla build I just use for PS3 modding and tools in general, including hosting PS2 games to my Japanese PS3 so it can stream them in via OPL) and voila, back over to the PS3 with the original safely backed up and yep, saved worked perfectly first time. No messing with .NET framework, program just opened and had no problem with the save.

My thanks to the developers, and this being a really easy place to download the program from MEGA.

Not sure what to tell you honestly. I never played GT6 all that much so I don't know if this is an issue with the editor or GT6 made a change to prevent this.
 
If i for excample set my national A licence the test on gold it completes my game...,why is that?
 
Not sure I understand. Are you saying your game completion goes to 100% after doing this?
 
Yes, but i found out the problem, i selected a race and then gold all in stead of manually input 1st place😃
So my problem is solved🫠🫠

I must've done something wrong with the save editor, I copied the stats of a TOM'S Chaser to a my GT86 "Racing" '13 and it didn't do anything. Also, I tried to add the engine, suspension and body of a x2014 fan car to the same GT86 '13 but it corrupted the save file.

Any idea what I might've done wrong? Also, thank goodness for automatic game backups! 😅

Edit: Also some cheated-in colors from the chrome category are nice even if not chrome, I love painting some cars with a XJR Race Car purple!

I don't know much about hybriding in GT6, but one thing I do know is they got patched early on and I imagine you're on an update after this change was made. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell you much more than that.

I'm very sorry, but there was just a problem with my GT6 save file.
By the way, changing the topic, can you create original race events with this GT6 save editor?

No, that’s not possible with the save editor. That requires modifying the game itself.

You're welcome! :) Please try loading your save game into the editor again and post a screenshot of it here so hopefully something can be done about it.
 
Hello friend, by any chance don't you have a manual or tutorial to be able to use the editor's garage? I've been using it for a bit and I'm trying to swap the engine of a specific car but it doesn't work for me.

Sorry, but no I don't. I never got into hybriding for this game, so I don't know much about it. I do know they patched it at one point, but I couldn't tell you when. I'd hazard a guess you're on an update after it was patched.
 
Hello, I have a problem, if I put the flash drive in my ps3 and overwrite my save, it gives me an error that the data is corrupted, I look everywhere for an answer and there is no one, no one has replied, help me please, I need money in GT6
 
Can you provide 2 saves, one before you edited it and one after? If you can, the creator might be able to do something about it.
 
Thank you! I don’t know which is before or after, but I am sure the creator will know. Worth noting he lives in Finland and I may not hear from him until tomorrow.

One of these has the decrypted files. The one that also contains for example "GT6_1.tmp_save_work" file. Trying to load that would definitely give you a corrupted message. Is that what you were trying to load? After you've done your edits, you need to click "File -> Save" and wait a little for the editor to save the changes and re-encrypt the files. After that the "tmp_save_work", "tmp_garage_work", etc. files should disappear and the changes be saved.

Jeden z nich má dešifrované soubory. Ten, který také obsahuje například soubor "GT6_1.tmp_save_work". Pokus o načtení by vám určitě přinesl poškozenou zprávu. To jsi se snažil načíst? Poté, co provedete úpravy, musíte kliknout na „Soubor -> Uložit“ a chvíli počkat, až editor uloží změny a znovu zašifruje soubory. Poté by soubory "tmp_save_work", "tmp_garage_work" atd. měly zmizet a změny by měly být uloženy.

Sorry for the delay I didn't use my notebook all weekend yes it works thank you very much this was the only option to have money and not jailbreak ps3 🎉🙏😃
