So. Gilda apparently is one of my most liked plushies, according DA. I had so many requests for her, I made another one.

I'm guessing that the front view of your latest one looks virtually the same as the front of the first Gilda plush you made. It doesn't appear to be that derpy though really.



And I have one eye left to colour on that pony I've been working on for the past day, then it will finally be finished.

Well, here is my second Gilda

Compared to my first Gilda

I make substantial changes from plushie to plushie. My patterns rarely stay the same from one batch to the next. The only time I use the exact same pattern, is if I make a bunch of characters all at the same time. Or beanies, I've barely changed my beanie pattern.

Ah, yes. The second one is clearly an improvement over the first, well in terms of the face shape at the front at least.



Anyway, I've been working on and off with this piece for the past day:

Critique time! So what do you think needs altering colour-wise?

I think it looks great. I don't see anything that really needs to be changed.

The Gilda plush looks really nice. Like Wiegert said, the face is a big improvement over the first one.

It looks pretty good, perhaps give Fluttershy just a slightly lighter coat. Slightly. But overall it looks great. And maybe slightly less black shadowing on her mane. But overall it's good.

You know, I was about to edit my post to say the pink in the mane should have a bit more, well, pink, but then suddenly Firefox crash as a result of 8 tabs open with YouTube videos.


Basically, I agree with Toro. It's just that the way he put it was more specific and helpful.

Okay, just noticed that I messed up a few areas after my first edit, but I've fixed it now.

That new Spitfire REA thing just look weird to me. Her limbs don't adhere to any kind of scale, and her face looks like she's wasted.

There doesn't appear too be anything wrong with her face, what with the permanent bedroom eyes 'n'all, but that shoulder is far too small and her body in general seems slightly longer than normal.
