the Tamora was included, as well as the 85 Audi rally car. Didnt saw the R8 nor the lancia 037. The Escudo was chosen by most people, its still a damn brute.
and to everyone, sorry, but it seems that the final day was absolutely crowded and overloaded with work for my friend, who coudnt take any pics of the Game. my appologies =(

Cano, to completely destroy all of these damn doubts. I'm sure you couldnt mistaken the sparks for backfire, you mentioned the sparks looking better than the sparks in gt4 so you know what are sparks and what aren't sparks. Moving on. You mentioned the back of the Jag lighting up, what color was the light? Like a yellowish color or redish? And please try and remember how the flash looked. Was there a simple pop or could you actaully see the fire? Now you mentioned the car crashing and stoping, so the car was completely stopped when the backfire took place? And I'm very confident that you didn't get the brake lights confused with backfire, am I right? Thanks for your time man.

People... RELAX.. Take a step back and realize that you're making a HUGE fuss over a pittance of a graphical detail. If the cars backfire, great. If they don't, so what? We'll know for sure in just over a month, one way or another.

PD Official Press Release "Backfire in GT4 issues".

"BACKFIRE IN GT4 ISSUES"

As the hype for GT4 is growing, Polyphony Digital has seen a lot of concerns of hard-core GT gamers regarding the backfire issues. Due to interest shown on that particular matter, we feel responsibility to answer on that issue as clearly as possible.

Backfire won't be in GT4. The reason is strictly bussines-marketing related. If we would put backfire in GT4, then we would have nothing to put in GT5 to make people say "Hey, there is a backfire in GT5!".

As we are very determinant to have people say "Hey, there is a backfire in GT5!", we decided to leave it out from GT4 - no matter of fact that there is no problem to put backfire inside, due to architecture of the PS2 console itself and it's VMO chip which allowes independent calculating of real-time effects, such as fire - and leave it for some better times.

We have a strong hope that users won't find this move insulting in any way because we know they will be more then happy in time the GT5 arrives to say: "Hey, there is a backfire in GT5!"

Notice to the press: As for now, GT5 for PS3 system will come out branded as "Gran Turismo 5: The Real Backfire Simulator".

What? Is GT5 going to be so lame they have to hype it with backfire? :roll with eyes:

*sigh*

I guess this will be the focus for GT5, and once again Improved AI and Online Mode will be cast aside as the intense modelling of realistic backfire consumes an extra years developement time.

Don't be so stupid they're not going to waste all their time on realistic backfire :dunce:
they'll be implementing working brake lights too

Because PD only includes new features when they are sure they get it perfect. Thats why GT didnt have rain til now.
Wow, I didn't know about the rain, are there any pics with rain? And is the weather adjustable on every track?

I dont think we will get rain now!
Its never been presented before, only wet.
With rain the track would be changing lap by lap, im sure PD couldnt model this realisticaaly and therefore would be left out.
