Tuned for the FITT Tuner Car Shootout.

The original ER34 Grip Tune was surprisingly fast, so it made sense to make a detuned version for 575PP. The gentle oversteer keeps the car rotating through the corners and 553bhp makes sure that nothing can keep up down the straights too.

Tuned for the FITT Tuner Car Shootout.

I've always had a rocky relationship with the S14 Silvia. Not just in GT5, but GT4 too. While it's my favourite generation of Silvia, it's also the most annoying to tune. It'll either understeer or oversteer, nothing in between.

This Nismo R355 (because 355R is probably done already) is pretty much a demonstration as to what an S14 can do if you're not looking for lap times. It's fun to drive and it listens to the driver most of the time. If it kicks sideways, it's easy to bring it back in line, but even easier to finish off the drift. If you want lap times, you shouldn't even consider this car.

For anyone using this tune outside of the shootout, I highly recommend using Sports Soft tyres instead. The Hards just provide no grip whatsoever.

same thing is wrong with NISMO 270R

I cant get the weight bhp and PP same as you???
BLITZ is great:))

How much mileage does yours have? Because it's a used car, it's hard to match power and PP exactly without having the same mileage. Just adjust the power limiter until it's 490PP. 👍

Roj, I found that strange too, sure you haven't copy pasted another car's setup and forgot to change the BHP and PP numbers for it?

I'd say he has. The Nismo R355 has 500hp…so where did the 355 figure come from? Unless Roj's been hooning the thing again by adding the huge turbo to it.

So I have no PS3 save data at all any more.... 🤬

At least I've been keeping busy

And once I have finished removing the understeer and oversteer from my two American supercar-slayers I might get RKM Forza Edition underway :sly:

I come back for a little bit and find this:

I tried it out and I was freaking befuddled. I thought "I'm hardened through experience now. How impressive could this really be?" Well Rotary Junkie, you shut me up. I want to make a full review of this car, but I don't even know where to begin with it. I never thought I would see anything hug a turn while drifting so clean. It really is a remarkable piece of work.

Also hi. o/

Sorry to hear about your PS3, Dragonthing. I was wondering why you haven't been online for like two months. :x

This Kia clawed its way to earth from the depths of hell. Do you really think traction is a problem?

Shift at 7,000 rpm.

This set-up is really a good stuff! 👍👍 I've been running round the Suzuka circuit for quite some time since I started playing GT5 and after I applied this set-up I have managed to dip below the 2:10 lap times.

I am just yet to tweak the transmission set-up as above but I am pretty sure the car will perform even better if I tweak the transmission tomorrow.

As of just a while ago, I was running on the Racing Mediums and 100% Power Output.

Great stuff! Thanks guys!

Hey guys, what parts can be installed to increase the rev limiter on a car?

Edit: to add to the whole standard transmission thing, I drive a F-150 5-speed every day, if a truck with a manual seems weird at all :P

Awesome Roj, and one more quick question. I'm tuning the Nomad Diablo and having trouble taming the power oversteer. What can I do to fix that, or is it just innately oversteery? Aside from that it's shaping up nicely. 👍

Nomad Diablo? Power oversteer? There's a good reason I used mine as a drift car ;)

<---- Goes against the grain, tunes for circuit

Bah, that's no fun :dopey: I found that tuning it for the best turn-in and getting rid of understeer worked best on circuits, as long as you don't plant it until you're going straight you should be fine, it has more than enough oomph to make up for gentle acceleration out of corners

I've not driven the Nomad Diablo that much but yeah that sounds like what its normal behavior is like. First you'll want a stiffer rear spring rate, higher rear downforce and longer gears to suppress the wheelspin some. Since it's a race car you don't want to neuter it too much or it'll be a mess at higher speeds. Best thing would be to do what Dragonthing suggested and just take it easy with the throttle. Remember, this is a pre-Audi Lambo, they bite. :P

Another thing to try would be lessening the LSD accel value. Hell, run a 5/5/5 diff like I did with the 908; it may be technically slower as wheelspin comes a bit easier but it'll be far easier to control said wheelspin.
